I’m a photographer living in Montana who specializes in landscape, nature, and wildlife shots. I’ve been at it since June 2007 and I can’t get enough of it. Ah, I saw your profile said you lived in Montana. I've never been there but photos I've seen make it look like a really beautiful place. :) (Smile) I live in an area with mainly fields of crops or cow pastures, neither I find are very interesting, haha.^^

I know what you mean. I grew up in Iowa. What I would do is try to find ghost towns, old broken down barns, buildings, and trees. People like that stuff. Beauty is everywhere! :-) (Smile)

Oh, yeah, I can imagine Iowa being the same way.^^
No ghost towns or many old buildings around here, but we do have a bunch of woods nearby. Although I'm bit afraid to go hiking around in them with snakes being quite active right now.
The cows would make good subjects, but they tend to be skittish and run away when people get close.:/

There are some photographers who take photos of textures. Closeups of rusted steel doors, chipped paint, tree bark, wooden furniture. The supply of textures is endless. It may seem boring to some, but to others, its beautiful.
