Hey, you don't really know me, but I've actually been a fan of yours for years. Back in about 2009-2010, I was a senior in highschool and had picked up a comic of yours, it was volume one of Sharknife. The visual style of your lineart was very fluidic in terms of how it portrayed motion, and it was inspiring to my still developing mind. Helped get me into comics at the time.

I'm going on about 24 now, and I still look back to that comic with fondness and awe for the lineart. Just wanted to send you my thanks for making that, it really meant a lot to me. It's probably about seven years late of me to say it, but I mean, I'd kick myself if I didn't say something.

Hello, I'm not sure if I posted a comment here yet but...

Back when I used to be a sophomore in High-school, we had a copy of Shark-knife in our school library, first book. I was highly influenced by the designs of those creatures and characters within the novel. The art stuck with me and it remains to this day one of my favorite comics I've ever read.

As an art student, I was highly impressionable in terms of an art style. My main inspiration used to be Jhonen Vasquez (jagged lines, sharp corners) but when I first read your book, I started taking notice at curves and how they blended so well with jagged lines and corners. The way your exaggerated anatomy to convey movement in certain fight scenes also set the beginning blocks of my interest in animation.
