Wow! Is Japanese hard? Since you know Chinese characters it may help to remember what some characters mean and how they're written, right..? : 3
Are your parents Chinese?
I am 100% Finnish and when I started to study English at age of 8, it was really difficult to me (and I actually thought that babies learn Finnish first, then they learn their native language and forget Finnish xD )...

Yup, my parents are chinese....or taiwanese =3= meh same thing just that i learned traditional because of that XD

I would be happy if I learned 2 languages from home! XD But it is too late. Now I just must stydy them if I want to learn...
I got my first cousin, and he is going to be bilingual I think. Her mother (my aunt) is Finnish and his father is Norwegian. They live in Norway but my aunt has decided to speak to the baby only in Finnish xD

its nice that you have the motivation and dedication to learn languages !
hmm....well, chinese is pretty hard XD

And hey thats pretty much how i learned chinese !
like i live in the us, but my parents only spoke chinese to me  
tbh, i love anime and drawing anime and...yeah you get the idea....
but mostly cuz i wanna go to visit japan someday...I really like their culture

Yes, Chinese is hard xD Main problem I am having now is pronouncing. Like, it is hard because tones and sounds that sound similar to my ear.

I think Japan would be a great place to visit!! Have you eaten Japanese food? I once tasted sushi, but nothing else. I have seen some pictures of temples in Japan, they look interesting. Also I heard that there are really many of them, not just few. ^^
