Regarding your new direction, I hope that most of all you'll just keep doing work in whatever direction interests you at any given moment. There are so many forces in the world that want to pigeonhole us, so always keep in mind never to do it to yourself, right?
But in any case, I'm very glad you're back, and I'll be eager to see what you do!

I know we all have our own working styles, but for me, it's often pretty intuitive - find an image that interests me, start "taking it apart" and working it from there... So just getting started and working with it is the most important step...
I'll keep my eyes open to see what you come up with! Always glad to see you pop up, in my gallery or your own!

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm realigning my entire LIFE around my art lately, but a) not having a girlfriend makes it a lot easier, and b) it's STILL a very challenging process...
I just want to keep you around because I'll always want to keep seeing you surprise us, and I'll always be interested in when my own work strikes you as particularly successful. I see a lot of what's going on at this site (and the experience of art in general) as "comparing one another's eyes," (i.e., when do different eyes see things the same way?) and I've been quite interested in yours specifically since I found you.
So I'll always look forward to you popping up when you can!

Actually, those colors are way super-saturated... The main thing that shot had going for it was the angle, so everything was about accentuating that and covering up the rest! (I've found the GROUND is often the most disruptive visual of foliage photography...)
Yeah, I've got a decent stash of photos (many of which I need to FIND), but I don't have anything interesting with ME in it. (That's my Ozark tour guide Drew in "Immersion.") Which is fine - when I get around to my DevID, it will probably be my shadow or something. But some of YOUR self-treatments really kick my ass.

Okay, I get the phrase now... rest assured, your latest is your greatest. It jumped RIGHT off the thumbnails page at me, and basically looks very compelling at all 3 different sizes (which, I think, is a real credit to the design sensibility of it...)
