# About me

My name is Mike Jones. I started drawing at a very early age and was in galleries in Hawaii by my 20's. I lived in the Islands for nearly 50 years before moving to Oregon. I have worked in most mediums , but prefer acrylics and colored pencil. I like to do fantasy work because there are no restrictions on my imagination. I have been a custom picture framer for over 40 years and make my own line of wood mouldings. I, also, cut gem stones, design jewelry, and carve in both wood and stone.
