Oh, yes. Lightsabers are awesome for dramatic lighting.
Well, you're doing it! Lighting is tricky. I think I'm only mediocre. I worked at home for 3 years, and I had plenty of time to do 3D in between other projects. Now I've got a long commute, and very little hobby time. I feel bad I'm more focused on getting pieces out in the time that I have instead of learning more. But, I'll keep an eye on your technique, and I hope you don't mind if I ask for a pointer now an then.

Can totally relate with the minimal hobby time, had slowed down posting this month bec of similar
I've always been a big fan of dramatic lighting. These days I been using a 4 light setup with spotlights: very close to the one in this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae2UCJ… with a focus to get the character hair to pop: especially dark haired characters. The tricky part with lighting i guess is based on where you want to guide viewer attention  www.thoughtco.com/definition-o…

Your work is still awesome, and that's good that you keeping consistent with posts (unlike some people -me- lol).
