Does it matter if you're gay or ...[insert label here] or...?
All the questioning & (social) upheaval is just the next step. Step two.
Pretty soon it won't matter if you love a boy or a girl OR who you have sex with- we make love with individuals not genders.
I'm queer and my mum knew it way before I did when I was like, five & I was all about boys. But I do want to feel e v e r y t h i n g my body is capable of...so anything could happen. 
Life is SO SHORT!!! It's good to do what turns you on & what makes ur brain tick fastest, eh? Life & art-making are about asking & answering questions.
I'm not sure how someone has homophobic "friends". It begs a re-definition of the word frined, which I always thought was unconditional.

Both talic and dana are right. I'm a 29 year old happily married man and I'm attracted to both men and women. I struggled for years and tried to repress those feelings. I was so scared that I couldn't be with anybody for the longest time. Just go with what feels right. Try your best to ignore labels and societal pressures. And if your friends can't like you for who you are, then they aren't really your friends. Good luck on finding yourself, don't worry, you will.
