hey that's fine, it's mainly coz i know you from school - not that i don't love your work, coz i do - but i'm Rose, year 10 this year, in Sympho with Blythe? yeah you might not remember... you'd know my face from Sam's party though, i reckon

Scary, yes. But exciting all the same... I reckon I won't really get around to uploading much here either, except for what I do for school

It's so weird having half my friends in year 11, it makes them seem much older... which is dumb but there it is i might upload some stuff from school as well, if i can get my scanner to work somehow. happy australia day!

lol yeah definitely so looking forward to getting back to school? i kind of am but then i remember i have to do maths and geography and whatever else... bleurgh.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-01-28 11:29:32 +0000 UTC]

I'm finally rid of maths, and there's the comfort of knowing it's my final year, so yeah, I'm real excited!
I've got my 3 folios which will be fun.
Geography suuuuckkkkkss, good luck getting through it.. Uerghh, the excursions they took us on... torture. Have fun!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-01-29 23:22:42 +0000 UTC]

oh you lucky bastard! i will probably end up continuing maths right through school just coz i don't know what i want to be and stopping would close doors... bleurgh. oh well i guess i'm not too terrible at it so i'll cope. do you know what you want to be? that would make everything so much easier. what other subjects are you doing? art will be the best one, i bet. and geography, i am definitely not looking forward to it. maps give me headaches. i was in Where In The World last year and it was sooo boring so i swapped it for Drawing, which became my favourite subject, so good choice i dont think mr goddard was very pleased though. haha

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-01-30 10:15:43 +0000 UTC]

I loved drawing, yeah. I know where I'm headed, and that's for a Bachelor of Animation at RMIT! My dream, so to speak, is to work for PIXAR. XD
My subjects? Well, I have (besides art) Viscom, VET: Interactive Digital Media, English, and Philosophy. I wanted Literature, because English was baaaadddd in yr11.. but you know, the school sucks and, well, I couldn't get into Lit cause it clashed with two of my folios
If you continue maths, General B is what I studied yr11, and it was VERRRY easy. So to just keep doors open, I recommend that

I'm sure you'll have fun. When do you start? Tuesday? I'm in monday, lluuuuuccckkkyyy me. Lol

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-02-01 02:01:32 +0000 UTC]

PIXAR? animating stuff like Monsters Inc? (best movie ever ) that would be soo cool!
haha easy sounds good, i'll keep that in mind... sounds like you have pretty good subjects then unlike me... biotech... meh. science... meh. girls team sports... bleurghhh, what a nightmare. and three times a week D: VCD and english will be good, i hope... maths... yuk. So this semester will be kind of crap. but i'll deal.
yay, starting tomorrow. whoop-de-doo. it'll be good to see everyone though and i have 3 doubles so it will probably go quick. and no band after school so straaaaight home how did your first day back go?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-02-01 11:15:40 +0000 UTC]

First day back was rad. Turns out they stuffed my timetable, but I fixed it
Girls team sports? Lol, I remember my last lesson of P.E, I was like, wow... this is the last time I'll ever excersize, and it was. Anyway... If you're unhappy with your subjects, you know that you can apply to change? It's not hard to do... just go talk to middle school.
You'll really enjoy VCD though.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-02-02 06:28:49 +0000 UTC]

same here was so good to see everyone! and i'm feeling a bit more positive about most of my subjects - darcy and erin are in girls team sports with me so yay! (but our first double is tomorrow, first thing we'll be all sweaty and gross all day)

biotech is shaping up to be much better than i though and i have an okay class and miss keating (as apposed to ms maslaris) for maths. and VCD is awesome, although getting all the right equipment will be a pain and NOBODY TOLD ME WE NEEDED A TEXTBOOK! hey you wouldn't have one i can buy would you? probably not but it was worth a try, i have to save up money for the China trip so whenever i can get a discount... and what the mole are cool grey markers?? they cost like 50 bucks! gah.

anyway so back to routine i go... maybe i'll see you in real life one of these days haha

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-02-04 09:05:42 +0000 UTC]

Yeah haha!! Single me out if you find me. You might have to tell me it's you though coz I'm not all that good with faces!!!
I know what you mean, getting back into routine is a pain. Already, I've been doing like 3 hours homework every night. But, all of a sudden, homework doesn't seem to be a drag anymore.. I dunno. Oh, and cool grey markers? They're called copics, delicious copics (lol delicious isnt actually in the name) I have 76 or so including colours and greys, they're awesooommmmee!! XD I don't have a textbook to sell you, sorry! We have to keep ours for yr12.
Good luck Rose!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-02-06 00:50:52 +0000 UTC]

haha god that would be awkward... anyway 3 hours? that sucks! but if you enjoy it i guess its not that bad yes i've heard about the whole cool grey markers being awesome but they're so expensive!! D: have you used them a lot in VCD? i might have to ask for them for my birthday or something
well i should be able to get a new textbook, its just a huge pain in the ass. everyone i know has sold theirs or is still using it
We had a street party last night, i thought it would fail because it was a rainy day but it was pretty awesome! went till like midnight though so i'm tiiired. luckily didn't have much homework. good luck for year twelve!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-02-06 10:14:15 +0000 UTC]

You don't use the markers much during yr11, and the school has some you can borrow. In yr 12, you'll probs need some though
Street party sounds rad, I havent been to a good party in agggees! I bet it was fun XD
Today I went to that wave pool in albert park, and discovered that the waves weren't as big as I thought they were as a kid
Was still fun

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-02-07 00:50:20 +0000 UTC]

oh good, i can ask for them for christmas
It would have been a better party if it was with my friends, but it was pretty awesome because i thought it would fail but it didn't, and i thought we would get rained on but we didn't... it was a "welcome to our street" party for the family that's moving in there... you might know John Walters? he goes to our school. anyway it was good.
haha that happens to me all the time, i'll remember something as huge or mega-scary or something like that and then when i finally try it again it's nothing! so annoying. wave pools are fun, but the ocean's better. having predictable waves gets really boring after an hour or so.lol

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-02-08 11:39:14 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, never heard of this walters guy, ahwell.
I agree, the ocean kicks ass!!
I love boogieboarding. Plus, the waves are better XD
Yeah, It's about the only place on earth that gets me motivated to be active anymore... hahaha...

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-02-11 02:37:32 +0000 UTC]

yeah he doesn't really move in our social circles, if you know what i mean... anyway yeah i love boogieboarding! i'm going to Port next week for my grandpa's 79th birthday but the water will be sooo cold and i don't have a wetsuit. mum did make me try on one she found in an op shop, but as you can imagine, it didn't really work out... i thought i was never going to be able to get out of that thing. *shudder. it was horrible. haha it's swimming carnival today, i'm having the day off. at least at home i can do something productive!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-02-11 08:00:19 +0000 UTC]

You missed out, we all decided to jump in the pool without the teachers knowing beforehand. It was sooo much fun, broke up the monotony of it all! But yeah, you probably did the right thing staying home. I couldn't, because I cant have absences in yr12. It sucks! Have fun at port!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-02-13 05:44:21 +0000 UTC]

yeah i heard about that, i wish i could have seen it! had a good day at home though not exactly fun, but you know, i got stuff done. haha did i say Port? i meant Port Fairy. i wonder who decided to name it fairy? but anyway yeah i will have fun i think, but i'll miss wednesday thursday and friday... not looking forward to catching up on what i'll miss! bleurgh...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-02-13 11:49:47 +0000 UTC]

You needn't worry about catching up until yr12
But I guess if you're really driven on success, then catching up is best.
Port Fairy? They have a super-cool folk festival up there. Great town, very pretty! You'll have fun for sure

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-02-14 01:00:41 +0000 UTC]

chyeah, i'm not really worried about my year ten subjects but i'm missing a VCD double and the first band concert of the year!! but it will hopefully be worth it
going to see a play for ariel's birthday today, so i'm not exactly LONELY for valentine's day... haha well should be good anyway

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-02-15 07:57:38 +0000 UTC]

I reckon so. How was the play? My valentines day was sooo good! Me and Blythe went out for a picnic in the Botanical gardens!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-02-25 07:06:48 +0000 UTC]

the play was Mamma Mia, haha so lame but it was really fun! It was actually really good, SO much better than the movie! i've always wanted to have a picnic at the botanical gardens!! lucky you Port Fairy was really awesome, best family gethering ever i reckon back to school now though... ugh. hey have you heard about the zombie shuffle? its on the first of May, it's going to be so much fun! we're all dressing up as zombie tourists

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-02-28 10:02:31 +0000 UTC]

sorry 'bout the late reply, I've been tired out coz I went to soundwave!!
Sounds like you had a rad time at the play and port fairy I've never really liked ABBA (D, but only recently I've been getting into it a little.. I heard about the shuffle, I'll probs go cause the one we attempted at the sports carnival DIDNT WORK!! grrr some teachers physically stopped us! It was dissapointing, would have been sooo good to storm the sports track as zombies! So I'll probably just dress as a regular zombie for the city shuffle or maybe a metalhead zombie.
So yeah, how are you?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-03-01 06:53:47 +0000 UTC]

nah it's fine, but ZOMG did you go to Soundwave!!!!??? lucky you, i want to go one day! and yes it was very rad, even though i've never been much of an ABBA fan either, they kind of annoy me after a while. but the play was really fun to watch. i heard about the failed shuffle, but this one will be so awesome!! and yeah, i'm good. a bit exhausted, but have to get off the computer so tell you about it laterr!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-03-02 03:26:13 +0000 UTC]

yesms soundwave was VERY good, the aquabats were the best followed by paramore, eagles of death metal and gallows. The metal acts were pretty good too but only cause that's my scene.. I'm exhausted too, mainly cos of school -_- ... but yeah defs looking foward to the massive shuffle

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-03-04 07:02:15 +0000 UTC]

wow, JEALOUS! well i only really know Paramore out of them but i like paramore haha yeah school has been abnormally exhausting for me and i'm only doing year ten! pathetic.
Alice in wonderland came out today! we're having a tim burton marathon and then going to see it on Sunday. it will be AWESOME.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-03-05 07:44:27 +0000 UTC]

That's rad, I'm probably only gonna go see it when the hype dies down... like I did with avatar
In year ten, you can get away with doing very little work, so you can relax a little Enjoy your marathon

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-03-05 08:43:44 +0000 UTC]

yeah, that's probably a good idea... we pre-ordered our tickets though so it should work out fine
Yeah, i've heard that about year 10 from lots of people, so i'm not too worried about actual school work... this year i think i'll focus more on music than anything else. and i've got pretty bludgy subjects so i don't know why i'm so tired! anyway enjoy your long weekend

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-03-06 05:51:09 +0000 UTC]

I love bludges! It's possible that I'll actually be seeing it tonight in the end... maybe. But it's gotten some pretty bad reviews, so I'm worried Good luck with your music, I reckon the band'd be pretty demanding...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-03-07 23:54:04 +0000 UTC]

i liked it mainly for the visuals, i have to say... the storyline was quite lacking, the ending kind of sucked but the visuals made up for everything it was so awesomely Tim Burton! And band IS going to be extremely fricking demanding, it takes up two of my lunchtimes every week and a morning and an afternoon, and then i have to practice and they think we have no life!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-03-09 05:01:49 +0000 UTC]

I didn't think much of it... even the visuals could have been beefed up, I thought. It came across as a bit of a sell-out for Burton to me, but I guess that's only my opinion...
One thing I did like is how fast the beginning sped along when she entered Wonderland (or Underland) which made it actually seem somewhat dreamlike... cause in dreams things seem to change context quite rapidly. But anyway, it wasn't downright terrible or anything! I wanted to band in year 7, but they never offered guitar! Grrr... but perhaps I am better off for it. Best of luck...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-03-14 03:47:27 +0000 UTC]

The falling bit would have been so good in 3D! i liked that bit as well that's the only bad thing about band, we don't have violins or guitars or pianos... just double basses and keyboards! i used to learn guitar but i had to quit lessons before i got good at it because of the China trip i still play it sometimes though. did you end up learning it out of school instead?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-03-14 10:02:25 +0000 UTC]

It was a little lame in 3D unfortunately. Normally I love 3D even when people hated it but this time it was pooorrr. Gaah! Quit guitar? BLASPHEMY! Guitar is so good, you should start up again just casually... I know you play sometimes but I mean like weekly you could teach yourself or something. Like I'm trying to teach myself piano (but not very well )
Yeah, I was learning it out of school before high school, that's why I wanted to do it in the band. I still learn! It is le cool. But enough about guitars, what do you play? I forgot, or didnt find out... sorry. But I am interested.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mysterium77 In reply to makusa-san [2010-03-16 07:49:37 +0000 UTC]

well that was the plan when i quit, but i don't have the time or the commitment to actually teach myself effectively i should try harder, but there's so much other stuff going on and i don't know how i'd fit it in what with flute (that's what i play in band - so cool, i know ) and school and friends and lying on my bed utterly exhausted!! haha i will try on the holidays, i swear! i learnt flute before i hit high school too, now i'm doing grade 7 but it's a lot of work and i don't know if i'll do too well i can still play piano too, but i quit that last year as well... i'd been learning for about 5 years and it lost its interest for me, i like it better just for leisure but anyway. next week is our last week!!! my friend's 16th is on the first day of the holidays. party will be so much fun, and then the next day i finally get to do NOTHING! i miss doing nothing...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-03-18 06:00:53 +0000 UTC]

mmm I guess so, it's hard enough for me to keep up one instrument. I cant imagine what it would be like with two Anyway im sure you'll do fine in your grade 7. I'm not looking forward to my last week: too many SAC's! guuu. And I have to go camping with my family which would NORMALLY be fine but I have so much that I'll be missing out on
But yeah holidays will be a relief all the same. Hope ur doing well

naww that sucks, i guess i have nothing to complain about when you say that well i'm really tired after going to ballarat last night, which i'm sure you've heard about from Blythe... it was heaps of fun but gaaah i'm so TIRED! D: and on sunday we have some kind of breakfast performance thing on... lots of flute playing for me yay! good luck for your SAC's!

bleh, i don't drink coffee i love the smell of coffee beans though! haha, i'll keep that in mind... i'll be fine in the end anyway, it's just my topic to complain about for the week so yeah, it's almost the holidays! i'm having a scary movie marathon on wednesday with tom and darcy, i'm looking forward to that! i don't get to watch many scary movies normally, being under 15 and having a little brother... but we always talk all the way through movies anyway ugh, school tomorrow

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-03-21 10:22:44 +0000 UTC]

I dont watch many scary movies either, but mostly cause I'm not too much of a fan. Actually, I enjoy watching them, but only if I don't watch them often.
At least it's the last week of school... though... I have so much homework the holidays will practically be school anyway... I wish it was all done and finished!

Bec's party was the best start to the holidays! it was so much fun! you'll probably hear about it from Blythe... it was so funny, we were having a shoulder-wrestling match and i accidentally grabbed her boob... i was like oops, Max will be jealous! anyway yeah i had a bit of an emo day today... you know that feeling of coming down from the party high? so tired and just wishing it could have gone longer? doesn't matter, i'll get over it i shouldn't be depressed about that when you have so much homework! god that sucks just try to get it all done early so you can relax for the holidays. are you going away for Easter?

makusa-san In reply to mysterium77 [2010-03-29 11:57:06 +0000 UTC]

Blythe told me all about the party, it sounded awesome I wish I had been there! Heard about the boob thing lol, hahaha... I know the feeling, but it'll work out, no school the next day for two weeks = happiness
Yes, I'm going away... tomorrow actually! to hatta/kulkine park, it's at the murray river.
Have an awesome holidays!

haha you know the depressing feeling, or the feeling of grabbing Blythe's boob? XD but yeah it will work itself out... i might be going away for the last few days which sucks coz i don't want to miss things... but oh well. rollerblading tomorrow, thanks to facebook, and good friday will actually be good, i'm spending it with darcy and tom at darcy's house... we'll go exploring! you have a good time at the murray! are you going to swim and stuff or is it going to be too cold?
