Moe was known to make adoptables based off her OC's with slight differences, high chance they are the same, no way would someone out of the blue have it so close to someone with bad rep as hers

Another artist is doing this and has for around 2 years, stealing over $3000 in total yet hides on other websites they not been banned on while others ignore her not completing her end
Unless the people scammed want to gather up evidence they paid her and she didn't give back and take her to court they won't stop because they think they can get away with it :/

not really, with journals being passed around and gossip blogs, it won't be super hard, artist-beware may help as well as checking comments on the profile, it be easy to track down the users IP if police come in to find her and send her the court order

ok so i was like you 2 i suspected the new user .. i asked her politely if she was ren or not ( i swear i was super polite ) she ignored the first message so i sent another one apologizing and told her to please reply to my first message and she read it and ignored it again... so i can say that she's Ren based on her ignoring everything i send without talking to me or even questioning :/

I'd like to say it's illegal (and I'm very sure it is in multiple places), but... sadly it's hard to regulate intangibleΒ goods like art and adoptables (That's why I just completely disregard the whole 'adopting' business.) so it may be hard to catch her without cheating or getting authorities involved.Β
If you want my opinion however, from what I'm seeing (Both from you and moe-e), this seems like some sick guy's idea of a scammer/drama queen hybrid. The best idea I would give is to watch for her e-mail address or IP address (If you are tech-savvy) or her general art style and behavior and avoid her. If she knows she will get a output from some something (Be it money or emotional), she WILL keep doing it. Only other option is have a higher authority forcible put a stop to it. There IS evidence of her worngdoings, so it should be enough to get DA staff's or a law-enforcement agency's attention.

Ren, self-victimizing won't get you anywhere.... this online art community is not an anime show that you are the main protagonist. In this situation, I think it is best to act mature as you can. I know it is hard. But, no matter how many times you run away, reality will trip you in any direction it will be an unending cycle. You'll be hurt over and over and in the end you're the one who is going to suffer. You said that you have left some love for your own self. Then, why don't use that love to save yourself from all of this despair? Just face it. You made mistakes. Now, it is the time to apologize and make ammends. I hope you'll see this message.

Look. I know lots of you are currently disliking her or even hating her atm. I only watched her art and this hurts me already, and I know exactly that people who have bought an adoptable or join her contest must be feeling very hurt. As a mere mediocre artist I loved her art and I still do until now. But now all this has happened we can do nothing but pray for her. If she's not fulfilling the commissions or the ATs and all the other stuffs, let her be. At least now we know her true self. Oh, and Ren? I knew Ren back in 2012 and 2013. I never knew things wound get this bad for her. Sure, she was walking into a whirlpool of danger and I could see it, plus her stubbornness can't be helping at this point.
