Wow!! You faved sound of silence AND added me to your friends list. Well after a quick glance at your gallery I can see some pieces that will help me return the favour. Thankyou
Hope your having a great week
BTW did you know your name is a song too?
Its by Filter called Miss Blue and the lyrics are
Could you stay long enough for me to say goodbye
You can be free as long as you're with me
If you could see the real me you'd bleed
If you could see the real me I'd breathe
Could you still Breathe long enough for me
Could you still be long enough for me
When do you think I'll be okay
When do you think I'll be okay
If I should stay when do I pray
If I should stay where do I begin
Do you think I should watch you die
Should we close our eyes and say goodbye
Hey you Miss Blue
You think that I'm well to do
Hey you Miss Blue
I feel in love with you
Hey you Miss Blue
I think about you as true
Hey you Miss Blue
I hate it when you cry
Hey you Miss Blue
I hate it when you say goodbye
Hey you Miss Blue
I hate it when you say goodbye
You say goodbye
You say goodbye yeah
Don't say goodbye
Say goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
Goddbye...

I took a stroll through your gallery. It must have been a while because I didn't remember some of the stuff. My overall impression is that it is simple (that's a complement, not a put down), elegant, open and honest.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill
spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

As I re-read your comments, the comparison to time/future with The Hours, yes, true, and it is partially what I was trying to convey, not many get that concept...thanks.

About your journal entry, "together apart"
The images are excellent, especially in the first three stanzas--losing someone in a crowd, love line on the hand, tracing the relationship back through the mountains and water. Adding the word "grip" to the image of losing someone in a crowd gives it additional power. "Blink of an eye," is a clichΓ©.
The last stanza was not bad but I felt it was not as strong as the first three.
The words, "etched on bone" don't conjure up an image for me--I donβt know what etched on bone looks like or feels like. I think the emotional impact of the loss needs to be shown more strongly. The images of the first three stanzas, I felt, called for something as strong in the end. I felt a little let down in the last stanza.
Do you need to connect the images in the poem to the other person more?
Do we need to know more emotional connection? We know his impact on you, but do we need to know more about how you felt about him when you had him? But I'm not totally sure about this.
Maybe the poem ended a little too abruptly? I'm not sure if, "Chapter," works that well as an image. I think of chapters as something short.
Think about line length.
Do not be inhibited from trying to imitate, say Dante. You donβt have to try and imitate all aspects of him. It could just be form, similar images, or rhyme schemes or rhythm that match the original Italian. Donβt be afraid to publish it on dA.
Overall I liked the richness of the images and the directness of it.
