...Let me give you some advise that my father gave me when i started doing music...I live by this advise, and it pertains to everything:
"You don't have to be the best...NEVER try to be the best...just be the best at what it is that YOU do...REMEMBER that there's always going to be someone better than you...people will like the things that YOU do without trying to be better than somebody else..."
See, when it comes to art, it's an extremely universal culture...Think about it like this: If some a-hole out there is getting paid thousands of dollars, just for painting a red line on a black piece of canvas, then I don't see why ANY OF US can't go forward with our art...
This website gives us ALL the opportunity to explore the many natures of artistic creativity from around the entire world!
I'm not the best...and i never will be the best...so don't ever discourage yourself from doing the things you like... Even when you think someone's better than you... Who knows, maybe someone will judge your work and think that it's the best...you never know...
Just keep doing what you're doing...I personally enjoy your work...keep it comming...

it actually cleared up something I've been wondering about for some time now, so thanks
I live by one advise too, which I actually got from a stranger, an old man that sat next to me on an airplane to Stockholm when I was little, "choose your own path to follow, even if you cannot see the road, it's there, and don't try to step over to another road where you're friends might be, it will only make things worse" well something like that, it loses some stuff in the translation but you get the point.
