- Cartoonists Association of Romania is preparing a major exhibition EMINESCU.

- We invite you to participate in this cultural project.
For this you need to send the portrait or caricature of Mihai Eminescu ([link] )

- All drawings from [link] will be exhibited.

- It also will print a catalog of all drawings from exhibition. The catalogue will be send to all participants.

- Digital art must be 300 dpi resolution and size 21x30 cm or greater.

I would try drawing your own characters and using the mesh tool to shade them picking your own colors instead of sampling from a photo. I use the mesh tool all the time when I need to do some unique shading.

Thanks my friend, I'll really look into creating some unique work sometime in the near future. I know, I would love to find a job creating vectors. I love that illustration also, I didn't know you did that one until I looked in your gallery.

The work in my gallery are gradient mesh works with some simple shapes used. I do a lot of nude work because it helps me learn more tricks faster, more skin more practice. I got a bunch of stuff I'm working on now also.

You've got some really nice gradient mesh work in there, nice job. Now that you've mastered the tool the trick is to use it on something that isn't strictly tracing a photo, I'm sure you could pull it off nicely!

Hey! Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi! I’ve been looking for gradient mesh tutorials and I’ve just bumped into your website. It’s amazing! And now I’m having a look at your DA gallery.
I’m working with the gradient mesh tool for the first time and my drawing looks like a monster Giggle Giggle Giggle Giggle Giggle lol. I think I’ll have to practice A LOT, it looks simple, but when I want to blend the different shades, it’s kind of impossible.
