Well, first, you might set the date and time. I noticed that it says your pictures were taken on November 30, 1999.
Second, set your picture quality to the highest setting. It really makes a difference.
Next, always use optical zoom, never digital zoom. Digital zoom only cuts down picture quality.
Turn on vibration reduction. It helps a lot.
And a big tip is to be aware of your shadow. I made that mistake when I first started.
Take 3 or 4 pictures of whatever you're shooting. That way you can pick the best one.
Always look a your pictures on your computer before you erase them. Many times I took a picture and didn't think much about it until I saw it on my monitor and it looked great.
Try not to rely on image manipulation software like photoshop. It makes you lazy and you end up spending most of your time in front of the computer instead of going out and taking pictures.
Take your camera with you whenever you can. You never know when you might see something to shoot.
The biggest single thing I can tell you is take lots of pictures. It's the best way to learn, and it doesn't cost anything unlike the days of film photography.
