Un petit mot pour te dire que j'adore tes photos. Surtout celles sur le thème des grandes batisses ou bien des bois et de la nature. Une étrange ambiance de fantasy s'en dégage, et moi qui suis fan de littérature fantasy et d'illustration dans le genre, je trouve des clichés superbes. Bravo !

Some (or maybe even many) of your photographs look very much like paintings. A good example for that is gaspillage , Painted with light, colours and the captured movement. There's something surreal maybe even unnatural about many scenes (I think of the buildings, clouded skies), because it feels just not like an everyday-impression. There's something wrong... going on. Like the atmosphere when the skie's full of clouds, just before a heavy storm, but the sun is faintly shining through.
The proximity of your photographs to painted pictures is a quality of your work. Are you thinking about painting while taking/manipulating pictures?

Light is for me the key of my job is probably why my work is closer to the painting. I hope and spend an atmosphere in connection with my feelings about a scene. For now I'm alone with my pictures, I only have internet as a means of showing my work, I live in the countryside surrounded by nature and old buildings in ruins, there is something quiet and threatening, beautiful and solitary. To answer your question, yes I am always thinking about painting.
