mandarin is literally the prettiest language ever tbh, me and my mum met this woman who spoke mandarin on a tram in london and she was asking for directions and we couldn't get over how beautifully she spoke lmao

I'd love to learn a new language but I tried Cantonese and learned some of the basic stuff but *_* asian languages are so difficult (which is a shame because they're probably the nicest to the ear too) I think i'm going to try Italian instead!!
