As a person who has been Lilly's friend for a while and the person managing this account as well, I have not communicated with either of them so I do not believe this at all either. So there is nothing wrong with asking for proof since the internet who make false claims and threaten to say "i'm gonna kill myself" or things along those lines. People can not be my friend for just saying this however, as a person who has been on Social Media for a long time now I would know this. So I don't understand why people are getting so mad over it, it's not wrong to ask for proof.

Asking for proof actually isn't disgusting. however your comment could have been better worded. "is there proof they died" in all low case letters, bluntly written with no grammar whatsoever was just asking for trouble : P
On Deviantart there are cases where a late Deviantart will need actual proof that they have died. Such as a legitimate certificate if they actually want to be featured on cemetery themed groups such as
As you know - pretty much every 11 year old on this site has gone through a phase where they become edgy af. and so fake deaths come in quite often.
So its right to ask for proof. But you need to be respectful about it
