Well, I'm not sure if you can in fact expect that many good suggestions, as a lot of people will already be awed by what you have. IMO it's quite finished already, as it looks good and hardly has any place for improvements. That, and you didn't leave to many clues on what direction you're going to take the model (except for what you can make up from the model). I'm glad though that I gave you a useful idea

I'm sorry to say I don't know the species though, as the flowers are my mom's and she threw away the description pretty short after she bought the flowers
The are orchids though, and quite common on top of that, if I remember correctly
