Yes, I was born deaf and my parents didn't realize that until I was 3. Normally babies would make noises, but I didn't.

Yeah, and I missed a chance to learn to speak any languages properly. So I still couldn't distingish many similar sounds that I hear, making the hearing aids rather useless to me.

Yes, same here and sign language is the reason why I tend to think in pictures that actually helps with my fanarts and mangas.
