There's always ways to fudge it. Crossplaying is more about being mistaken even for a moment. Once you place the doubt in someone's mind, it will always be there unless you openly say you're a girl. Yeah, I guess. But unfortunately, I'm not a thin girl at all. I'm a lot like River or, if you watch Star Trek, Deanna Troi, body-wise. So I couldn't be mistaken for a moment. I'm a brunette, with curly hair and brown eyes, and tall. I can't find anyone to cosplay except... maybe... Idris (the TARDIS), or Madam Kovarian. But even them... I don't know.

You can totally still crossplay even with being curvy! There are curvy men just like there are curvy women. It's all about the small bit of deception and change you can cause on your own body without also causing pain.

Honestly I'm of the belief that you should cosplay whoever you like regardless of body type. I'm tall as hell, but I sometimes like to cosplay short anime girls (like Asuka!)

Same with facial features, honestly. I mean, there are people you can look more like than others (for me, it's anyone with cheekbones), but then you can fib the rest with makeup.
