It better! LOL I bought at Best Buy about 3 1/2 years ago. It is an upper end DSLR. Canon 40d. The body was about $1200. You can find it used for about $500-$600. Still a great camera. I am also using high end lenses. Each $1000 +. The lenses make a difference. I recommend getting started with a rebel. They are spectacular entry level cameras. You get a kit with a good lens for $500-$800 depending on what you get.
