well of course constant training. Identified what lacks in your drawing, look for the relevant tutorial and reference for that problem, and implement it in the next drawing. Keep looking at the reference until you really understand it. Every great artist start from a great reference LOL
i'm using Photosop though lots of people using Sai..
Tools? hmmm only brushes i guess. And playing around with blending modes. Haha
