# About me

Hi! I'm Caterina Bassano, I am Venezuelan/Italian and I live in Glasgow (Scotland).

I studied media & communications, I've never taken courses or any formal studies of art so I lack the knowledge on anatomy, perspective and painting techniques.. but I've always loved to sketch and experiment with paint and colours, so I keep doing it :)

I don't have a defined style or technique, which is pretty obvious if you look at my work.. I do paintings on canvas but also digital illustrations, I use acrylics, watercolours or oils, and sometimes mix all of this. I also play digitally with photos.

I realise real artists may think of me as an abomination to the art world, but hey for me it's all about enjoying what I do, getting inspired and loving the power to express any idea. Live, laugh, love <3
