# About me
I have been working with photography for several years now and I have not had one moment when I didn’t love it. I still have the same passion for photography that I had when I first started. I enjoy learning about photography, I get so excited when I learn something new. I have learned a lot, but I am not even close to knowing everything there is to know about photography. I don’t think it is possible to know everything. I love capturing moments, stories, anything that changes the way I and even other people look at things. I like to try to let other people see the way I see things and feel the same way I feel about things, or at least let others understand where I am coming from. It is truly amazing what can be done with a single photo. Just a simple change of angle, color, or just a certain effect can really change the way people view something. I admire that about photography. Photography means so much to me, it has taken me farther than I could ever go without it. It has changed my life, attitude, and strengthened my confidence. It has allowed me to go on many adventures and I have been able to express myself in a way that I would not be able to do any way else.Working at Olan Mills Portrait Studio helped my skills in taking portraits by learning the basics. I took the things I have learned and the money they paid me, I bought my Nikon D7100, and created my business, Kelsie Marie Photography. It was the best decision I ever made. Of course I have learned much more since I have worked at Olan Mills. I have learned much more than they would ever be able to teach me. I am very proud of my business and I put my heart into my business. I think the best experience that comes with doing portraits of people is that I can capture a moment in time of someone and it is as if they are frozen in time in that one image and you can go back and look at that photo whenever you like and it will always be the same while the person in the photo continues to grow and change. Also capturing photos of people can help you see a whole new side to them that you wouldn’t see any other time. It is still them but it is as if you “changed the angle” and it ended up showing a whole new perspective of them. I enjoy working with people to create portraits that they will love and cherish for years to come. I plan on taking photography all the way, as far as life will allow me to take it.
