I know! Right after the book came out and everybody hated Renesmee and thought the book sucked, everyone loved Kate/Garrett! (coughbecauseitwasthebestpartofthebookcough) But now I'm not seeing the same excitement as before!

well its still here with me! haha, i didnt hate renesmee but i think they should not let bella name children, she has problems
i didnt like the part on the island or the ending but i really didnt mind the book. the ending was a lil too neat, im all for sacrifice when its done well but she just lets everyone survive without a fight.

Right, right. All in all, the book was okay- it seemed to grow on me after a while. But I totally agree with you about the anti-climatic fight scene. It was just so...Hallmark-channel-esque, where everything works out for the best. The whole good always trumps evil thing. Yea, totally not realistic.

...I'm complaining about a book filled with vampires/werewolves/shape-shifters/dhampirs is not realistic enough... I need help.

haha, hallmark-channel-esque. LMAO!!! thats exactly what it was. i mean the book grew on me and i was always a fan of jacob so his little section was brilliant (especially the chapter titles)but towards the end it seemed sooooo rushed and then noone even got a scratch. i mean nobody had to die, but near death experiences and sacrifices make it sooooo much better then alice running off and finding a vampire/human/wateva and saying this is what everything is going to turn out like and its fine, then everyone skips home. it feels pink, haha, and i dont like pink. so freaking pretty and perfect

i think i might have a problem that im upset that noone died

Yes, I must admit, though I never was a fan of Jacob, I became one after his lovely chapter titles.

And I think part of everyone's problem with the ending is, everybody's been hyping Twilight up as the next Harry Potter. Well, in HP, about 20,000 folks die in each book, so we kinda expected some kind of sacrifice on Bella's part. But no! she saves the day!

I've never really understood why some people hated Bells until that moment.

oh i had problems with j.k.rowling and her killings. first out of the list of my top ten favourite characters about 3 survived but that wasnt the problem. the problem was the way she killed them. she is terrible at writing death. i mean i cried mainly because they were dead not the way they died. i mean after she killed sirius everyone i know wasnt sure he died and that he would come back. and all the deaths after that there are no dramatics except maybe snape and fred. i mean dumbledore just fell off a roof and what with the fact that remus and tonks died without a story, they were just sitting there.

ive decided. i think joss whedon should write books. i know i would cry in them. he writes great deaths lol.

i dont like bella all that much actually. she is ok, just a little to lovestruck/dumbstruck for my liking. i spose then she is a bit cooler then usual, but still alice is cooler.

I must admit, book Bella was sooo much lamer than movie Bella. Kristen Stewart totally redid Bella's reputation to me. Even though at several points in the movie where Edward is all "I eat people. I want to eat you." and Bella's like "I'm not afraid", I had to restrain myself from yelling out in the theater "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"
