Ms. Jubah, having just seen your image of Elwing's flight I could hardly wait to tell you that I think it utterly magical! (and am not entirely sure that's mere metaphor).
I also wanted to say that your rendition of Old Treebeard is … well, I'd need to be as patient as Fangorn himself to compliment it as you deserve, but I'm too hasty and so can only say that it is PERFECT.
Quite frankly you continue to excel yourself - long may you continue to do so!

After posting fourteen images within the span of twenty-four hours, I'd say that you've more than made up for any lack of posting on deviantART!

Miss Jubah, I was browsing your 'Croclock' tumblr.com and discovered your wonderful depiction of 'Three Generations of Faithful' much to my delight!
It's a lovely rendition of Tar-Miriel, her father Tar-Palantir and HIS mother (whom I suspect must have loved him dearly and been loved dearly by him in return; I hope she lived long enough to see her son become King and meet her grand-daughter as well!), all of them beautifully illustrated and brought to life thanks to your pens!
(If I might be permitted a brief digression:- I continue to admire the way in which you continue to balance Ancient Egyptian, Ancient Greek and Classical Roman influences to create a uniquely Numenorean look - also the fact that your ladies remain the most beautiful on deviantART drawn by human hands, rather than sculpted by the hand of God!).
I am particularly glad to see you draw up a rendition of Tar-Palantir, whose benevolent good manners and otherworldly, piercing, soul-searching eyes I have never had difficulty imagining but whose face has never-the-less remained a little vague in my mind - if you don't mind, I would be very glad to borrow your image of Tar-Palantir and add it to my own mental image of Numenor throughout the Second Age!
I hope that your work continues to bring you as much pleasure as it gives us, your audience and that you also remain very, very well!

aaahahaha you found it, nice!!
Thank you for your kind words djdhffhrfrhfhrehn im really happy you like them!!
i was a bit sad to see tar-palantir didn't have fanart dedicated to him, so I decided to remedy that! I'm very happy it worked well for you, I really need to draw more numenorian men, i keep forgetting about them ahaha whoops!
thank you omg i hope you continue to be entertained by them DD

I do indeed intend to follow both your art blog and your deviantART account, with every expectation that I will enjoy what I see there!; I must add that I really love your short-haired rendition of Luthien Tinuviel (a character whom I believe never looks better than when drawn by yourself - she's simultaneously elegant, spirited and LOVELY which makes her practically perfect in my opinion).
I must admit that while I would be happy to see you draw more Men of Numenor, I am more than equally happy to see any lady whom you may care to draw (have I noted that you draw the PRETTIEST ladies as often as a I should have? - probably not because then I'd have to fill EVERY post with 'Jubah draws the prettiest ladies' and I suspect that would get a bit tedious after a while!), so I am quite happy to see whatever inspiration may move you to record it for posterity (especially if that inspiration happens to be Numenorean, for while all Arda interests me, I seem to have conceived a particular interest in the Land of the Star).
I must also admit that I am very glad that talents like yours, so much greater than mine, are at work giving minor Tolkien characters definitive portrayals - my own ideas tend to be either excessively complicated or downright basic (For example my only real idea for Tar-Palantir was that he looks more than a little like this).
I have only just realised that Ms. Olivia Hussey would make an excellent life model for Tar-Miriel ...

Miss Jubah, I would like to take this opportunity for drawing Tolkien fan art so joyful that it allows me to make it through a re-reading of The Silmarillion without breaking out into great howling sobs!
On a more serious note I would just like to say that I admire your ability to convey Character with both charm and grace (even when the character themselves is neither charming nor graceful!), as well as your gift for costuming!

Hey, I am really, really happy about all the lovely comments you left me! I'm flattered you liked my works so much, and that you took the time to tell me that you appreciated them! Thank you for all the kind words, I'm glad! (and aaaaah I'm familiar with the howling sobs the Silmarillion induce on a person, which is why I also try to focus sometimes on more domestic, peaceful scenes! I'm happy they work well for you )

Thank you very kindly for your reply Miss Jubah; I am always happy to bestow a compliment where it is deserved and even happier to hear that it has been well-received (after all a happy artist is more likely to keep producing such wonderful work, which allows me the opportunity of viewing it, which produces further compliments which leads into another virtuous cycle of compliments!).
I must admit that your depictions of The Golden King and Tar-Miriel (more beautiful than silver or pearl indeed when produced by your pen!) are so good that I must ask; do you plan to illustrate any other Numenorean characters?
(I must also admit that I would love to see your depiction of the only happy moment in the entire Akallabeth - the moment when Isildur and some part of the White Tree return to the waking world together, after a long period where their survival was in doubt and that world seemed a darker place in consequence: I imagine Elendil the Tall to be a man who uses dignity as his shield and wraps himself in majesty as a cloak - but also as a man whose reaction to seeing his son return to health would be like the first burst of sunshine in spring after the harshest of winters!).

I'm a biig faaan of Elendil's family!!
Aww you are right! That's a great idea, thanks! Whenever I have time to enjoy myself again I will try my hand at this!

I notice you’re from Brazil. I’d love to visit Rio!
I've found that a lot of people here in the U.S. don't know much their own country, much
less anyone else's.
I post prayer updates about different countries. Part of the reason is to raise
awareness about what's going on in the rest of the world.
Recently I’ve started a personal initiative; if I notice someone on DA
is from another country, If I've done their country I let them know.
It’s my way of letting them know that others are thinking about their home.
This update is about your home!
