I didn`t have the privilege to know Jeylina personally. By experience, each of us presents ourselves by the way we talk, act and express ourselves in various occasions. I got to know Jeylina across her photographs and the ideas that were immortalized in her work. They told me about a deeply sensitive woman, with a sharp look at significant details and a heart that embraced the many facets of beauty that lie within us (women). From Jeylina`s photos I learned that she was someone who knew to love and who was loved, because certain aspects in her photos cannot be noticed and emphasized by a person privy of these two essential experiences. I must admit, that I fell in love with quite a few of her photos, as they touched me and transported what many of us women are so good at: empathy and appreciation for the beauty, that may touch our soul by just one or all of our senses. I feel blessed to have been able to look through Jeylina's eyes and share her view. But apart from the enticing, soft and physical appeal, I guess, Jeylina was aware that life and death are married unseparably. I know that we're spiritual beings making a physical experience, so I believe that death brings us to another existence. The one that we leave behind may rest eternally recorded in the aether of the universe. As I see it, Jeylina succeeded fully to leave vivid and impressive traces of her stay here. Her view and thoughts and ideas ... her perception is still alive, whenever I look at her photos. That's what art is all about. That's what life and love is all about. That's what the art of living is all about. Thank you, Jeylina, for having shared your creative essence with us!
