Kinda figured :) (Smile) Simi is pretty small and sometimes it seems like everyone knows each other somehow.

You don't happen to go to Moorpark College, do you? This is a weird suggestion, but your photo skills are wonderful, AND you live in Simi, so it miiight work. The Advanced photography class at Moorpark College is one student short of being able to "happen" next semester. The instructor for the class is willing to skip a person ahead to keep the class going. You'd get access to use the photo studio, lighting equipment, and work with lots of really great photography students. But it would probably require some hard work. You interested?

I'm going to be going to Moorpark starting next month. I signed up for a photo class but it's a beginning one.
Of course, I'd love to skip ahead. X)
How would I be able to do that?

Yay!!! You'd have to swing by the school's photo labe this coming week some time between Monday and Thursday before 6pm and talk to Steve (the advanced photo class instructor) or John Gray (the intermediate photo class instructor). They'll get a paper ready for you with an add code or something that you can use on the Moorpark registration website or in the main office. You should check this out [link] !/group.php?gid=117238038322119&ref=ts You'd be the final student registering who saves the class from going extinct! :) (Smile) I think they can switch you from beginning to advanced if you want, or you can always take both if you're up for doing looots of photo work ;) (Wink)
