Yeah, I know sorta how it is, growing my hair out and all. Everything is great, I'm taking a photography class right now, and loving it. When I get some shots I'm confident in, I'll upload them and you can see.

Thank you. You know I never even finished that! I was wanting to work on it some more but as usual, there's never enough time. Thanks on the Carerra, it turned out pretty well compared to what I thought it would. That was all done using the tools in photoshop...surprised me it could look that good with no photos used.
And yes, how the heck did you guess? That was Atlanta. I took that from my dad's truck when we were stuck in traffic for hours there.

I'm doing alright... I started my independent study, Pete wants me to work on another short animation, but this time concentrate on using a more different style than what I'm accustomed to. Actually, the animation is on the back burner for now, and I'm trying to get together a portfolio to get into grad school (or n-tara... whichever comes first ^_^ ). I've started working on a new vector illustration, and I'm thinking about throwing something together for a comic art contest this weekend.... my problem is I've got so much going on at once and I'm too lazy to prioritize, so nothing ever gets done.
Anyways, how are things on your end? Have you heard from any of the other KAFI guys lately? Somehow, I don't think we'll be finishing up the Cig-Man animation anytime soon, but that's perfectly fine with me considering my workload.
Oh, I was at the DMC on Saturday and was looking at some of the pieces in the Gallery on the bottom floor.... I noticed a piece of yours I hadn't seen before that was really sharp. I can't remember the name to save my life, but it was kind of an organic-looking double exposure.... it may have been a photoshop piece. Really, really nice.

I'm doing quite well, just got back from Abingdon this week, in time for my basic photo class. I'm liking it a lot, and finding out I think I like photography more than anything else I've done. Ever. I still definitely like most anything artistic or digital media-related, but it seems taking photos is my main interest. I've taken lots (before this class), not very many any good, so that's why the couple of photos I do have on my DA account suck. I think I may start a new account and put nothing but my best stuff on it, or just delete most of my old stuff.
I did add Cube to my watch list on here, and have messaged him back and forth a couple times. He's a nice guy.
Thanks for the props, that was a photoshop piece. Definitely did not print as well as it looked onscreen, but oh well, that's always the case. I'll have a calibrated printer/monitor setup someday
