Oh hey! The new Smash is fun, people die way quicker so it's more fast paced I feel, way better if you're in to the competitive part. But if you haven't played Mario Odysssey or BOTW yet then that's more incentive to get a Switch too...
Anyway hope you're doing well, it's always nice to hear from the people back from DD.

Oh my god, I've been away from dA for a while so I've only just seen your update (and new account) and I was just thinking abut you the other day! I was just wondering to myself "whatever happened to Crocty? Is he still doing art??" I'm glad to know you've still been arting, and have a Tumblr and Twitter (I'mma follow you there as well.)
The problem with the old DrunkDuck crowd is that most of 'em I knew primarily by their usernames, and if they didn't use the same one for their other social media I pretty much couldn't find them. (Unless they were drawing the same old comics, but a lot let characters and stories fall by the wayside, so I couldn't search for them, either.) I am damn glad to see you're still around.

Haha 3Fangs, hey, good to see you again! Yeah I checked my old watch back when I was making this new account, but it seemed everyone I knew had jumped ship. Guess that's the nature of the internet, pretty easy to lose touch with people. Hope you're doing well though!

Aye, seems like after dA went through a few changes, a lot of folks up and drifted--but it's as you said, just kinda the nature of the ever fluid and ever changing interwebs. I've been doing pretty well! I don't do as much art anymore, and I haven't picked up any comic work, but things have definitely improved. I went through a rough patch with my art where I kinda hated drawing, but I'm over that and slowly working my way towards maybe picking up more longform projects again. Not exactly sure if I can go back to doing comics, but it's no longer ruled out indefinitely.
I got more active on my own Tumblr, and I sometimes hang out on Instagram, and occasionally Twitter.
I do a bit of podcast work now--I help put together a fantasy comedy audio drama and provide voices for it, which has been fun.
Boy it sure is good to see you active again--if I remember rightly, just before you disappeared you'd just started posting some character art that wasn't Frank and Vinny. I'm glad I'm getting a chance to catch up with your art again, the years have definitely been kind to you and your skills!

Ah yeah, art ruts are tough. For quite a while I really had to force myself to start drawing, and then when I'd finish I'd hate it anyway so I'd feel even less motivated to start next time. I'm mostly over that now, I'm feeling pretty good about my art for a change, it feels nice! Good to hear you're doing well though! I followed you back on tumblr and twitter (I think it still uses my old tumblr name though) so I'll look forward to your future projects

I guess EVERY artist has to go through a period where they hate their art and don't feel motivated to work on it...At least if you've gotten that part of the process out of the way it ought to be all aces from here on out!
