Hi, thanks for your add! I was reading your comments and could'nt help but think of digital scanning. It would get around at least one of the issues with film.

Thank you. Yes, I have a good negative scanner, so as long as I get the negative processed, I can take it from there.
Now, getting 120 film processed... it won't happen at the local 1-hour shop. They might be able to send it out and have it back in 2 weeks maybe. That's why I'm thinking of developing b&w film.

Yeah, I feel ya buddy. And sending it out just seems silly to me. I was lucky enough to still have a contact at my old highschools photolab who let me use their lab. Hope you successful in all your attempts! -Dave

I'm amazed to get a favourite on "Bunya Bunya Pine"! How on earth did you find it? Anyway, many thanks

I was looking for square format pictures taken with kodak brownies
I've been shooting 135 film with a kodak brownie and I also shoot Polaroids, but since Polaroid 600 film won't be available soon, I'm looking to start shooting 120 film - but I hate sending film away to develop, 1hour shops already feel too long for me, so I need to learn to develop as well!
I wanted to see what other people have done with 120 film and get idea of the composition when using a wider lens and square format.
"Bunya Bunya Pine" is a lovely picture.

Ah, that's fascinating! I just wish I hadn't given the old camera away - I'd love to be able to take square photos now...they have a very special appeal....mind you, costs a lot here to have B&W developed and printed (which is why I originally gave it away). I think you're onto a good thing doing your own development...also for the satisfaction. I'm delighted you like my photo
For your search, I have three original Kodak brownies, square, taken by my father, if you're interested - [link]

Plus a fourth taken by a professional, so would not be a Brownie, but it's square.

I found a Polaroid camera last week in the trash. It says "land camera" on it and there is a red button with the word "Pronto!" above it. I think there is still some film inside, I don't know how to use it though. I think the model is called a Pronto!

Wow! It's basically an early SX-70. See: [link]
It should be capable of using 600 film (the one you can get at walmart or pharmacies), but it needs a 2 stop neutral density filter. Or a 1 stop neutral density filter and set the exposure control 1.5 stops to darken.
See this page for more info: [link]
Maybe it's already modified.
Oh and the battery is embedded into the film.

Oh yes that's it! Thanks for the info!
As well as the camera and case, in it were about 30 or so polaroid photos from the 70's of various people. The treasures you find curb diving
