Thanks. The problem is that I don't know what purpose the gauntlets would serve. I guess maybe Arthur could be sort of a boxer/wrestler/fighter. Also, I have been having trouble trying to get the story all set. After when my friend died, I've been trying to have that be part of the story. But it has sort of dominated how the story will go.

I played Assassin's creed Synticate. Jacon Frye fights with these braces and I figured using it for close combat or shooting an electric chains from your arms would work

Okay. But I just need to work on the story first.

I have some ideas like these scenes.

Scene Idea 1
One scene would have Arthur when he got home. He would be in an alright mood. That is until his mother and father asked him to get into their room. He would have had a confused look on his face. His mother and father would have a sad look on their faces. His father, Edward Martin, would have shown him a website on the computer. Arthur then had a shocked expression and then looked at his parents.

Arthur then walked towards a window where he then put his hands on the window sill. He then put on hand on his face, trying to cover his face to keep people from seeing his sorrow. His mother would then put a hand on his shoulder. Arthur then looked at her with a sad expression on his face. His mother and father tried to comfort him, only for him to walk away from them. He then looked at them, heavily breathing with tears in his eyes. His put his right hand on his face and in his hair trying dry some tears.

Arthur was in very brink of despair and was on his knees.

The camera is near one of Arthur's closed eye. Which then opens up and his pupil dilated with a flare in his eyes. (Showing the rage that was boiling inside him) His eye then closed with a tear rolling down.

Near the end of the scene, Arthur's parents, brother and sister would comfort him all the while it rained with a hint of thunder. The camera then paned at a picture of Arthur and a human character that would be the animated version of Eva Kassab. The scene ended as the camera paned closer to the picture and faded to black.




Scene Idea 2

This event might take place after Arthur finding out his friend (Who is the reference to Eva Kassab) died and would be depressed and I guess having a negative outlook on life. Charlotte would be curious about why Arthur is like that and would try talking to him. Kerri would try to get Charlotte to leave him alone, to which Arthur would give an angry look on his face. Charlotte would be curious and ask why Arthur did that.

Arthur would then say that he hates it being there, hates her with a passion. Charlotte would give a confused look, which angers Arthur. He would explain that Kerri isn't what she looks like, that she is a manipulative, lying bastard.

Kerri would hear that and tries to put Arthur in his place, to which Arthur would start standing up to her. He would gesture that he doesn't care and won't back down. 

I haven't thought up what would happen after that. But I guess Kerri Taylor would try to put Arthur in his place. Threatening to kick him out and remove his supports that his family needs to keep their home. Arthur unfortunately would then sit down due to him not wanted to throw away something that his family needs. (Despite the fact that I never got anything when I was there)

Scene Idea 3 Arthur Questions Life

The scene would involve Arthur in his room. Writing in a book, all the while we hear Arthur's inner monologue as he claims that he begins to question his existence.



Scene Idea 4 Arthur's Death

This scene might be present in either the short or even the series finale.

The spirits of Arthur and a female character as angels are shown in front of their headstones. The camera cuts to the front of them with smiles on their faces. It cuts to a close up side view of
Arthur's face still smiling with a tear running down his face. The female character would grab Arthur's hand and they would walk away and faded from this early realm. The scene fades to black
with "The End".

(Not sure why I want this but I will think about scene 5.)


Scene Idea 5 Marie Thompson's Death

The scene starts . We see Marie and her family in a room in the hospital. Arthur and his family is heard walking in the room. A cut to near Marie in bed is shown as Arthur slowly walks towards to bed.
The heart monitor connected to Marie is heard in the background as Arthur tries to hold in the sorrow. His mother conforts Arthur knowing what he feels about losing someone. The camera cuts to Marie
in her bed as the heart monitor slowly dies.


A close up to Arthur as tears roll down his face. Knowing that he lost someone near and dear to him and will never get her back. It cuts to him near her in her death bed. He starts tearing up, the
camera begins to pan out of the room through the door as a thunderstorm starts rolling in and the camera fades to black.



These scenes are what I got so far. There maybe more on the way, too.

You put a lot of thought into it. Very impressive. Now I would say to get ideas I would start making a prologue of what is going on now. You seem to have a lot of ideas yet as a writer in training I would suggest doodling a bit more. Don't get me wrong I like, but now let's see how it turns out.

Thanks! I even made some changes to who the antagonist would be.

The antagonist would be a fusion of Mr Hyde and the inner devil. His role would be to torment Arthur with the memories of his lost friend. His inner angel would try to tell him to ignore him and to try to move forward in life. Sort of the voices in Arthur's head. One that gives Arthur wisdom and speaks the truth. While the other torments him and brings up the bad and painful memories from his life.

There might be a scene where Arthur has to face his inner devil. During the battle, Arthur would finally let the pain go. (Which would be an advantage for him) His inner devil would then grow weaker and might even crack under this new found pressure.

Arthur would defeat him by learning to keep moving forward. As he would torment him ever since the day his friend died. The fight would end with Arthur landing the finishing blow that would result in his devil cracking and breaking apart, resulting in his demise.  

The short would end with Arthur moving forward as he lets go of the past. (Something my friend would want me to do) Arthur would then say good bye to the past as well as the vision of his friend as they both fade and disappear from his mind. As he then prepares for the good that will come in the future.

I guess this ending isn't as depressing as that one idea I had for this short was going to have.
