Now that some of the "lesser value" kits were actually smashed to pieces in my car under heavy stuff while i was moving to my new flat - i have a whole friggin' box of spare parts. From hi-grade gunpla mostly and i saw a disassembled Crest AC and some other plastic leftovers.

You're welcome. It's hard to comment on your flashes because they're all good more or less. And more importantly they leave a feeling of something complete, defined, something whole. Like no more words are necessary and that feels like an essence of a flash fiction for me. And you're doing it very fine.
I'd really like to read a bigger piece from you if (or once) it will be done someday. I have a feeling i could learn a lot from it.

Thanks for that. I'm glad you enjoy what I write and it's nice to know the stories achieve what they're intended to in the short space they exist in.
I'm looking forward to writing a novel, and will likely write some longer-than-flash short stories in the meantime as I ramp up to that. Hopefully that works out as well.
Cheers,
:Steve

Your a pretty good modeler and painter. I'm ok at models, but I always fail when it comes to the painting part.

You've got some nice AC models in here. Gonna give you a watchback, iromanovsky; keep up the good work.
Now, "mecha" with "silly japanese robots" would be something! Breakdancing Gundams vs. raving Armored Cores would be SO awesome...

When I started here on dA, I looked for people writing at the level I wanted to write at, and provided what useful feedback I could on their writing. For the most part, they reciprocated and commented on mine. I had an advantage in that I have always written flash fiction here, and it's much easier for someone to read 600 words and comment then to find the time or motivation to read 2500 words.
I haven't gone looking for other places to post stories, so I'm afraid I can't help you there. I can say that reading and providing feedback on other peoples work does provide a tremendous benefit when it comes to objectively and critically editing your own work. The better you get at identifying ways to improve other peoples writing, the better you'll be able to improve your own.
At the end of the day, the best way to get better is simply to write, and once you've written edit mercilessly. Once you've got something you're convinced you can't make any better, post it and try to get feedback. Don't post everything you write, and don't post things you haven't made your best effort to edit yet. If people find writing that's clearly not been proofread they'll be less likely to provide feedback, but if you're making a good effort to not waste people's time, you'll be surprised at the feedback you do get.
You do have to be patient, and you'll have to give feedback on other people's writing, but it does work. Honest!
