Before Pound could even see who it was, a small, furry hand with 4 brown fingers reached down to grab him and pick him up. Who was this furry individual that wanted the small Nerdluck inside his hand at the moment? The animal's face was obscured at the moment but Pound would surely see him with his eyes sooner or later.
Timon eventually poked his nose out of the shadows and came into full view. Right on cue. He was going to be the little Nerdluck's kidnapper today. Though what on earth could be Timon's motivation?
The meerkat licked his lips.

( 🔸 ) ↬ // Needless to say the sudden furry hand that had grabbed the little alien pretty much startled the living daylights out of him for a good few moments. His green eyes immediately darted towards the meerkat in confusion once the shadows had left and unhid his features. What in the world was happening? Why was the other licking his lips? So many questions raced through his mind during this moment, but then a wave of anger rushed through him like a bolt of lightening. If there was one thing he absolutely dreaded the most, it was being captured.
( 🔸 ) ↬ // The Nerdluck had then growled in an angry manner just before kicking his short feet as an attempt to struggle free from the other's grip.
❝ Rrrr!! Put me down at ONCE you imbecile!! ❞

Just as Timon was about to take a bite out of Pound.
Pound spoke up, with his words, his full english words and his somewhat squeaky voice. This gave Timon quite the spook as he didn't expect his food to be talking to him.
To be frank, Timon didn't want to listen to Pound's command, though it was incredibly surprising that this little creature that looked like a incredibly fat and plump orange cockroach could talk.
It was a little harder to eat something that was fully sentient. Timon thought Pound would not be able to talk.
"Are you a cockroach?" Timon questioned Pound before putting him back safely on the ground.

( 🔸 ) ↬ // As soon as the Meerkat placed the orange alien on the ground, Pound immediately glared up at the other with his deep green orbs, fists balled by his side in anger. Cockroach? Pound was pretty annoyed at question; just how many times were these Earth creatures going to compare to him as such a thing? More importantly, what in the world did the other suddenly capture him for in the first place?? There was no way he could keep his guard down now, who knows what this Earthling could do to him next?
❝ Just who are you callin' a cockroach? For your information, bub, I am a Nerdluck. I don't need another one of you Earth creatures asking me that question, it's getting on my nerves! ❞
( 🔸 ) ↬ // Pound definitely had a pretty short temper with Timon, though honestly this was the way he was around most strangers.
❝ Just who do you think you are picking me up like that all of the sudden anyway?? Pull a move like that again and I'll blast ya to the moon! ❞

"Well, I usually eat cockroaches. That's why I picked you up." Timon thought he might as well be Frank with the Nerdluck.
"That was a close one, if you didn't speak up, things could have just gotten ugly for you."
"What's your name little guy?" Timon was a rather small animal himself and had no right bringing attention to the fact Pound was small, but as soon as Timon knows the Nerdluck's name there will be no more need for condescending nicknames.

( 🔸 ) ↬ // Pound felt annoyed, maybe even a little insulted that Timon would think of him as some sort of Earth bug, even though in all honestly it probably wasn't anything personal. Just thinking about it made him roll his deep green eyes slightly.
❝ Hmph! Well again mister, I'm not a cockroach! ❞
❝ Well who wouldn't speak up when they are about to be gobbled down into darkness?! ❞
( 🔸 ) ↬ // The orange Nerdluck arched his eyebrows slightly at the meerkat. Just after this Earthling was about to eat him alive, he had the audacity to ask him for his name? Pound wasn't buying it, at least, not right now. He didn't want to let himself trust the other, but perhaps there was another way he could make sure this Earthling wasn't going to turn him into food for sure. The little foot and a half tall alien then jumped up onto a nearby rock and pointed his finger at the other.
❝ I'll give you my name if you give me yours first, Earthling! That way, I know you aren't trying anything else I might have to watch my back for! ❞

"My name's Timon."
Timon lifted up his foot to approach Pound on his new rock platform.
"I promise, I only tried to eat you cause I thought you would taste like a juicy cockroach. I have no idea what a Nerdluck would taste like, and you say you're an alien? You'd probably make me sick. I've never had food that didn't come from earth." Talking about the semantics of eating a living creature was surprisingly casual for Timon. He had to do that everyday, bugs were alive, it was just part of what you did to survive as a meerkat.
"I'm what you would call something of a African bug connoisseur." Africa was a country on earth. It was where the two of them, both the meerkat and the Nerdluck currently resided. "You're totally safe around me little guy. Since you're not a bug."

( 🔸 ) ↬ // Pound had a hard time pronouncing Timon's name at first; never had he heard of such a name before. He then watched as the meerkat joined him alongside the rock. He stepped back a few steps, giving the other room to stand. He then squinted at the other for a few moments, figuring out if he should trust him or not.
❝ Hmmm . . . Well, I'll be watching you mister. Nobody is having me for lunch. Think twice before picking someone up like that ! Anyway, I suppose I'll let it go this once . . but only because you said I'd be safe ! I'm taking your word for it so you better not be lying to me or you're gonna end up being nothing more than ashes! Got it ?? ❞
( 🔸 ) ↬ // The orange Nerdluck then cleared his throat slightly before introducing himself to Timon. At this point, his temper and inner fear of being eaten slowly seemed to subside.
❝ . . . The name's Pound. Umm . . African bug what now -? Yeah, never heard of such a thing. This place seems . . . filled with different types of Earth creatures. Tell me, what do you call your species ? ❞

Forgive Timon if he wasn't very intimidated by the tiny Nerdluck. His threat of turning Timon to ash seemed empty. Him and what tiny Nerdluck army with what alien weapons? It was very few times in his life Timon got to feel like the physically bigger person in the room.
"We call ourselves meerkats. All meerkats basically look like me or very similar to me. Small, furry and incredibly handsome." Timon's ego was showing "We use our impressive bods and claws to dig tunnels in the earth and live underground inside them to protect ourselves from predators."
"We also occasionally eat little plump cockroaches. Which you are not."
"Though if you're an alien, what are you doing on earth?" Timon would be more surprised about the fact that aliens... exist... but he already knew that.

// Emy has always wanted to go to other places, other than staying home. She barely leaves home these days, probably because she's always doing things there, like cleaning up every inch of the house, but now, it was time for a break. She finally leaves the comforting atmosphere of her home and goes into the outside world, other than the city she lives in.
// She decided a visit to a sort of "toon town" somewhere. It sounds like a nice little vacation for her, and maybe she would get some new friends, probably because most of her old friends have left her and moved on to other things and she's extremely lonely.
// She fiddled with her fingers as she nervously looked around, hoping to find someone who might introduce her to the place, but being very shy and hesitant, she actually doesn't have the courage to speak up. Oh well. Maybe she'll just think about what she should do first. She then sat down on a bench, looking up at the sky as she felt the soft breeze on her face, her hair flowing with the soft wind. "It's...quite nice here," she thought to herself, "I wonder if someone thinks the same.."

↬ Man, what a day. Pound had just finished playing basketball with his pals over by the court and needless to say he was pretty worn out. Ever since he got to stay in Looney Tune Land, everything seemed so much better here unlike his former dreaded residence back on Moron Mountain. It was almost hard to believe that he was free from the hands of his boss and finally got to be in control of his own life again. It was also just really nice once in a while to have a break from giving orders and kick back. The orange Nerdluck took out a bottle of water and began to drink it down while he was heading for a place to sit down and rest. He soon spotted an area with rows of benches and thought he could just sit there quietly for a while. He then walked towards an empty bench then climbed up onto it, sitting down and closing his eyes with a calming sigh afterwards. Little did he know that there was anyone else around him . .

Was this person .. talking to him? Where did she even come from? Great. Guess he couldn't get a break without having someone to disrupt him. His deep green hues darted up towards the feline-looking girl, his face visibly sneering in annoyance.

❝ Yeah, I do . . . What do you want? ❞
( 🔸 ) ↬ He had crossed his arms in front of his chest and waited for an answer. This was mostly how he was, giving the cold shoulder to most people, especially ones he didn't know.

// After turning away, her ears folded downwards, and her tail dropping slowly. Her back was hunched as her head lowered when she started to walk away with slow and unbalanced steps. "Great," She thought, "You screwed up again. People are gonna think you're stupid or something if you keep this up. Maybe coming out of home was a big mistake.."

Ah well, it didn't matter because now she was leaving and he could finally re-gain some peace and quiet ... Though seeing the feline girl leave, he did take notice at how afraid she was and how she probably wouldn't do well out here all alone. How pathetic. On the other hand, she wasn't really a threat to him and he thought maybe he was coming off a bit cold, but he honestly couldn't help that. Perhaps maybe ... some company wouldn't be so bad. After all, it had been kind of quiet in the area lately. The orange Nerdluck rolled his eyes and sighed, disbelieving what he was about to say next.
❝ . . . Sit down. ❞
( 🔸 ) ↬ He came off rather demanding, even though he was just trying to hide the fact that he didn't really mind that much.

She needed to relax somehow and not seem weird or anything, so she just took a deep breath and sighed in relief. She was just glad she finally met someone at least

He honestly felt a little weird knowing that he just told a stranger to come back.. let alone be okay with her sitting down with him. His deep green hues glanced to the side for a moment, thinking of something decently "nice" to say, even though he really didn't want to. Arms still crossed, he then began to look up towards the sky as well. He felt a little more kicked-back now that he was getting at least a bit of peace. It was honestly a bit hard for him to relax sometimes due to how tense he usually was, but hey, it was worth a try to take it in while he still could..
( 🔸 ) ↬ While he was gathering his train of thoughts, he began to wonder where this girl had come from. He's seen a lot of the same faces here, but none like hers. Perhaps maybe she was from another area of toons?
