Excuse me, I don't wish to sound annoying here, but I've sent you a PM awhile back about using the Dragonfly costume design. Why haven't you responded back yet?

Are you the same Ed Halley that did the graphics for the Windows version of Chip's Challenge?

Blast from the past. Yeah. You still have a copy of it?

karatelincoln In reply to halley [2010-03-06 18:13:53 +0000 UTC]
You bet I do! Every time I switched computers, I kept it on a floppy so I could put it back on and play it once in a while. The tile used for Chip walking left or right is absolutely the most memorable image from a video game for me.
Since I know you did that, I'd like to ask something. There's a game I'm trying to remember the name of. It used tiles for graphics like Chip's Challenge, but it took place in some sort of haunted house, not only exploring the rooms but shooting arrows at monsters. The main character looked identical to Chip, but he had different hair, wore blue, and had a cape. It really looked like it was a simple recolor of Chip with the addition of a cape. Did you also do the graphics for that game? I've been dying to remember its name.

Nope, first I've heard of that.
Send me an email-- I have a question about your old copy of Chip's Challenge. [ e d @ h a l l e y . c c ]

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill
spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.
