Oh no, I'm so sorry for your camera! Ok, forgetting it on the top of your car is not the most intelligent thing to do but shit like that can happen. And it's useless to worry about things that you can't undo. But well, it still sucks that you don't have a cam anymore. Will you buy a new one soon?
A for you to cheer you up

Funnily enough, I saw The Killing just a few days before I took those pics. And loved it! If you like The Killing, you'd probably also enjoy John Huston's The Asphalt Jungle with Sterling Hayden and Sam Jaffe.
Unfortunately, I don't have a stronger light souce than the one I've used. What if I use a longer shutter speed and combine it with the flash? Would i then need to tone down the flash?

Thanks for your helpful comments on my recent noir experiments -- and the fav, which I cherish coming from a photographer as accomplished as yourself.

Yes, my birthday was wonderful, thanks for the congrats
And even more thanks for the and great comment on 'Venus21'!!
You're right, I had something in mind when I created this image, something about modern beauty ideals, how impossibly figured Barbie seems to be the 'goddess of beauty' of our time...
I hope your camera is doing well again Or is it completely broken? That'd be really crappy
Anyways, thanks again

Thanks for your thoughtful comments on my recent photos. You're not the only one who thinks I should have left that bit of skin out at the bottom of the Laura Sculpted photo. I agonized over it for a while, but decided to leave it in because I thought it added to the sensual mood of the piece a bit. Anyway, it's all a matter of opinion, I guess, and I value yours a lot. Thanks again!

that is an excellent suggestion - you're right, the photo looks much cleaner if i dodge the window a tad to get rid of the other house.

Yep, you're right. Hesi and I are building a good rapport together and learning about each others likes and dislikes. It makes for much better photos for sure. She gives herself far too little credit. Anyway, thanks for the on Hesitation - Mutual Smile and your great comments once again.

Cool! Thanks for the fav on Femme Elemental 1 and your usual insightful comments. As usual, I shot a million frames in different ways to get what I wanted out of this one. I did include her belly button in a few, and tried with a white background too. I came to the same conclusions you did. Thanks man for verifying them!

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill
spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

Thanks so so much for the and your very nice comment on my ~germania submission [Slideshow of my childhood] !
No, I didn't intend to hide half of my face When I was taking the picture I didn't realize that the part with the poppies would turn out so dark but now I really like the effect because it draws the attention to my eyes and it makes me kind of merging with the slide picture.
I chose this version with me turning away from my 'younger self' because it expresses that our childhood is always a part of us although we're rarely ever aware of it.
I also want to say thank you that you like my gallery! Speaking of galleries: yours is really awesome! I love your minimalistic style and the creativity and professionality of your work. I think I have to add you to my devwatch

hm, okay i understand. now. i think the way you not mention anything about the emotion, just telling me about the red thing was what distracts me, you know? so i dont see that you understand the picture...
its always hard i think, if a photographer puts a lot of emotions in a picture and the only thing the people mention in their comment is the red thing. but its ok, makes me kind of sad, but but not longer than 5 minutes and critical words are kind of good too...better than the "fan-words".
take care and thanks for your time!

like i said under the picture...
the red thing describes a way...
there is someone missed. only the bike and the red thing is left. alone. obviously from a child which isnt there and nobody knows something about whats happened...
its a sad picture...im sad that nobody really got it. but its ok...or...what do you think?
anyway thanks for your comment! its always nice to read something from you...
