No, I completely understand how you feel! I find them annoying myself. I don't like people thanking me for favs, so I personally never do it-I don't feel they are important enough to leave a message for, you know?(Although still equally as appreciated!)
But it really, really makes me happy when people like my work so much that they actually decide to watch me-no matter how many I get, it's always an honor to have people take interest in what I draw, so again, thank you!

Favorites do matter, but not that much, as you said. I have thousands of stuff favorited by this account and if I got one thanks from each one of them... I guess I needed to faint here for dramatic effect.
I think I could say Don is my favorite with Raph in second, because that's what it theorically is

That's so cool though, that you can relate to the characters in some way. I don't think I relate too much with any-I'm a good mix of Raph and Mikey though. I'm pretty much a friendly idiot, but my temper is just the most awful thing. I tend to get carried away when furious enough. I start hitting people and throwing stuff, not very pretty. I tend to get annoyed really fast, too.
It's the opposite for me, I guess. It's embarrassing to say, but I guess I like characters based on the qualities I'd personally like in someone else. I find intelligence and the ability to be quiet and calm attractive-I'm not any of those things. Quiet more than anything. So that explains Don, I guess. It's not just him, I tend to like all reserved and intelligent characters, provided they're not annoying. As a girl...I have to admit that badasses are just...awesome. I don't mean to generalize here, but you have to admit that Raphael possibly has the most fangirls for that reason. They love him because he's ready to fight and protect, emotional, bold as hell, and just an all around badass, and people like him a lot for that, haha. I can see how girls can be attracted to that~
I totally admire you for being a science geek-I've always found science amazing and interesting, but I've never had the mind for it-I'm terrible when it comes to science and math. I'm artistic only, haha-which is why I really love and admire people who can do things which involve more logic, I find it admirable.
To be perfectly honest, if we were talking about any other TMNT series that wasn't the 2012 series, Don would be my favorite hands-down, but due to his change in personality in the 2012 series, I'm liking Raph and Leo much more. Leonardo seems more calm and (adorable) in this new series, which was that Don seemed to be in the 2003 series that I grew up with. I'm kinda sad they made him so naggy and rash in the new series, but he's still cute in a different way, I suppose.

Actually, I usually stay away from such silent, calm characters because I really don't like those qualities in anyone. It's sort of boring, don't you think? But Donatello was never a boring type of a calm person. He doesn't get angry so easily, and that makes him a calm person, yes. But he likes exciting stuff too, although not as much as Raphael and Michelangelo. He enjoys some action, like rooftop racing or video games, and that really doesn't fit with the stereotype image when I hear "calm and silent" I imagine at all. I love that. Besides, although modern series chose to slightly ignore it, 2003!Donatello was hella brave. If something gave him a shiver, he walked towards it. He was willing to completely ignore his fear due to protect his family. 2012!Donatello is definitely miles away from coward, but I don't think he's equally brave as his 2003 counterpart was.
I didn't hit anyone so far, because everyone seems to take steps away from me once they understand I'm pissed. Because of those cowards I've met in my whole life, I've never been into an actual fight and my muscles are like rubber bands. They're still creeped out by me when my eyes start getting hot though, and this means their survival instincts are working correctly
Badasses are awesome squared, no, cubed! There's an anime character named Gokudera Hayato, and damn guy is a genius as in science geek AND badass. No wonder I have a crush on him, right?
I'm not sure on who has the most fangirls amongst the turtles, I mean, Leo's fanboys are a lot harsher than fangirls. But only a few of them would love Raph if they knew him in real life. Not much of people likes rude people no matter how much they are loyal for their friends; I know by experience. Although I don't care about most people around me, I'd love to have a small amount of friends that connected with a bound which Raph and his brothers share. That's something about me, brotherhood and friendship just amazes me; that's why I love the shows which I sense real and realistic friendship from... How the hell I managed to bring subject to this?
And as for 2012 series... Yeeeaaah... Well, that's exactly the series I'm most confused about the favorite character. Raphael and Donatello goes with the same qualities I mentioned before, so I won't repeat much. Michelangelo is... Michelangelo, and although I can't describe how I love him, I really do love him. And Leo... He was usually my least favorite turtle compared to the others in all series, movies and comics. I still loved him with all my fangirlism, but it was just less compared. But in the modern series... Wow. Just wow. His voice does various tones back to back that is enough to make all my hormone levels reach to the moon. I mean, I could watch the scene he said "We're just that good" in The Gauntlet until the end of time. And his attitude has such a charisma that matches perfectly with his voice, but his voice affects me the most. This way, he took his seat near his brothers in my fangirl heart.
Although I'm usually considered as a tomboy, I have the girliest fangirlism you can ever see.
But I don't agree with you about 2012!Donatello part. I think getting him more 15-year-old-boy sarcasm and energy is a nice touch that doesn't conflict with previous Donnies. And since his fighting skills are underestimated by the producers, I think his new eagerness is good for him to get noticed.
Yes, it is rare to be called kind, but I'm happy about it. Although you have a point that I may be a friendly person. I value friendship more than ANYTHING, but must people are creeped out by me while I'm trying to be their friend. No, not because my hobbit temper, at least it's not always, but it's because I tend to show most my crazy qualities to avoid getting used to acting normal around them. And I end up looking like an idiot. I know I should just show my qualities one by one, but then I know what I'd get: "you've changed a lot". And they'd have a desk on their skull, but that's not the point.
Admire me? That's not a line I hear everyday. I feel my awesomeness is proved once again. But thanks, really. It feels good. I'd love to know everything in Universe, and science offers the most capability on it although not 100% of it. That's what science is pure magnificent to me. My plan is becoming a scientist in the future. But there are stuff that interests me as much as science. For example, weapons. I am addicted to specifically ancient ones, but that's another story. What I was trying to say was that I have passionate for a lot of stuff, and none of them were created by force. And you know what, artists have clearer minds than scientists, that's why they are capable of seeing details that scientists can miss. I'm sure you're aware how much details are important to the science.

I personally don't find them boring at all. True, Don is calm and quiet, but he's not bland. He's not boring and knows how to have fun-many calm and quiet characters tend to be quite bland, but not him. He has much personality to him. He's goofy, and sarcastic-it's very cute. 2003 Donatello really was brave~he never cowered in fear, which I liked-but I don't mind him being less brave either, personally XD
I've never gotten in an actual fight either-but I do tend to curse at my parents and hit my brother when angry enough, LOL. I'm usually well mannered but lose all that when angry-strangely I imagine Don's temperament to be the same way. Not as exaggerated, but I'd definitely think he'd be a force to be reckoned with when angry.
I've never heard of that character, but I don't blame you, hehe.
Raphael is definitely the most popular among my watchers, at least. Most of the girls I've talked to either love Raph or Don. I've heard Leo being popular with boys though. He used to be my brother's favorite. It think they did a fantastic job with the brotherly relationships so far with the turtles, something that was present but not as much in the 2003 series. I personally find Raph's attitude hilarious-if I had him as my friend I'd shrug off his rude comments and laugh at them XD
Leonardo used to be my least favorite too, but he was given so much personality and charm in this new series that it's impossible not to love him. He's cool, he's mature, and perhaps a bit conceited, which I truly love. I love that he's usually the serious one, but he's not a stick in the mud and knows how to have fun. And dude. I watch the episodes JUST to listen to his voice. It's an eargasm waiting to happen. I'm truly pleased with the VA they chose for him. Perfection~
As for Don, what I meant was that I don't like his temperament. He gets angry far too quickly for my liking, and he's perhaps a little too conceited when it comes to his accomplishments. I prefer him to be a little more modest like his 2003 counterpart, but that's just my personal opinion. I kinda miss his closer friendship with Raphael as well, they used to balance eachother out well, but they constantly argue in the new series. It's not the biggest of peeves of mine, but it's one of them. Don's been underestimated as a ninja since the 2003 series, but I think it evens out because of his intelligence-he'd probably kick major ass with the creations of his mind alone.
Ditto about the friendship thing though, I wonder if I freak people out too, haha. I'm pretty much the same as you when it comes to friendship. I tend to show my crazy qualities too if I feel comfortable enough with them. I think I get to get too cozy to people, which I end up regretting when they don't behave the same way with me. -childish- XD LOL you weren't kidding when you said you were violent.

I wish I had the ability to retain information and remember processes-but if you give me numbers and formulas, I'd end up self-destructing.
I see your point about artists being more prone to seeing details others can miss-I tend to observe a lot and focus on things other people wouldn't, probably. There's qualities as an artist that can be useful in a science field, but I guess they can prove useless if you're shit with numbers and facts like me, haha.
Give me languages, writing, music, and art and I'm your girl...other than that...lol nope.

Yeah, I simply love the brotherhood in modern series. But there was a lot of brotherhood in a different way in 2003 series too. I'm sure, because I'm rewatching it recently - althogh I've seen episodes from all TMNT cartoons in my childhood, the only episodes I remembered were SAINW and The Shredder Strikes Back Part 1 from 2003 and absolutely nothing from 1987 (of course, now that I've completed rewatching first season of 2003 series, it increased). Back to the topic, there was a hardcore brotherhood if you ask me, but it was more mature brotherhood - I've always thought 2003 turtles were around 25 anyways. They acted too mature and looked too mature to be 15 - agh, back to the topic again. For example, in Tales of Leo, Raphael cried. He was so scared of losing Leo, and although he didn't drop them, we clearly saw the tears. And, and in Notes from the Underground Part Two and Part Three, he freaked out when he lost Don first and then Leo. But I see your point, brotherhood in 2012 series is more obvious and more... what's the word I'm looking for... often? That could work.
2012!Donatello has a shorter temper, yes, but I really love short tempered characters. Beside, to underline they are still 15, Mikey is the only turtle who doesn't have a short temper. Even Leo tends to snap every so often, and although 2003 Leo - Raph fights were sharper and threatening, 2012 Leo - Raph fights are too often to be so. Besides, 2012!Don would be a typical, annoying nerd character if he tended to ignore all those "nerdy" comments of his brothers - to point out, which is more often than it was in 2003 too.

Actually, I love ALL weapons, but I like guns less than ancient weapons. Because using ancient weapons actually needs effort. It's hard, and that's why, it's definitely "fighting" in my vocabulary. Maybe I can't count all +80 types of swords, maybe I can't instantly categorize weapons by their origings, heck, I probably have only the ones who are survived until our era in my mind memorized; but I fucking love weapons. My favorites are nunchucks, without any doubt; which adds extra points to Mikey in my opinion. It's really hard using that shit, you know, and that's why I think Mikey has most fighting talents and I hate that producers usually ignore this. Even Splinter in 2012 series said Mikey "has more raw talent than his brothers combined". HE ACTUALLY SAID IT. And like I dragged the topic out while I was talking about TMNT, I managed to bring the topic back to TMNT while I was talking about something else. I mastered the art of messing the topic.
I am pretty good with numbers, actually, my verbal classes usually suck. Not all verbal classes, Literature and Turkish Language are fine because I read and write, but not the parts which I'm supposed to memorize stuff. Philosophy maybe too, because I like thinking although it conflicts with my what-the-fuck-is-thinking actions, but hate memorizing stuff at Philosophy too. Although I like ancient history, I don't like modern history which we are studying now and in the end, memorize-it-all type of class History sucks in my grades. I can't help it, all my memorizing department of brain is filled with songs - at least little guys working there must be having fun
If you mean foreign languages, actually, it's proven that who are good with numbers tend to learn languages easily... Maybe you just don't like math and stuff
Oh, and maybe if you didn't realize yet, the reason I am becoming a scientist is that I want to destroy stuff, not build. My lifetime goal is to blow whole France up
