As I have thought of doing somethng like that for a while, i am curious: how much time does it cost you to get from zero to a full inked page of TGBO? Is it all traditional or something digital?

The page you mentioned is traditional.. i did the rough layout, like a bit detailed pencil in a half sheet if letter size paper.. then i blow it out printing it in blue ink ina legal size paper. Then i ink it there over the blue printed paper.
I rarely do my art in 11X17 size board... i mostly drew my art in a legal size paper and using finer pens like unipins with 0.05, 0.1 to 0.5 tips. and also using artline caligraphy pens with 1.0 points. and using a chinese or indian inks dipping a pentel brush.. and thats all my tools nothing more.. im still studying inking in digital using photoshop cs4.. so thats, i haven no secrets, just practicing all the stuff.. hope it helps.. cheers..
