Are you sure that you are using a mesh-supported viewer? If you are using Phoenix or Firestorm, make sure they are up to date. Otherwise, most other viewers out there support mesh now. I use Nirans Viewer.

oh yeah i have the mesh compatible viewer. its my comp that seems to not be able to handle it. my laptop which is newer, can handle it a little better if I up the resolution, but it makes everything much more laggy then.

It's an ancient tradition dating back to the vikings and asatron. Where they'd plant birches on their birthday. After which, they had themselves a good ol' fashioned blót.. Nah, i'm just kidding! It's just a play on words, sadly. I have no idea what my ancestors did on their birthdays. Probably raided a village, or did something cultivated if they were from Birka.

Is it a "I'm from a warm place, and now we have very mild winds and 1mm of snow", or a good ol' "I'm from the north, and i consider -20C fairly warm on winter"? Which type of blizzard is it? Hehe :3

*laughs* well...its been a really weird winter. I'm fairly far north and it gets plenty cold and we get lots of snow usually, but this has been like a record warm winter...as in I barbequed outside this week and flowers began to sprout thinking it was spring... I call it a blizzard though because its coming down so thick and heavy you have trouble seeing through it and cars have to go 25mph on the highway to keep from slipping off and auto accidents are common. we got probably 10-12 inches of heavy snow over the last 2 days. sure you probably get more up there, but was pretty hairy on the road last night.

Oh, i see. Yea, it is a lot different here. I consider a blizzard very strong and cold winds that carries snow and ice. You basically can't face it if you're dumb enough to go outside (Like me).

It has been a pretty warm winter. Not as wild as it was the past 3 years though. But it's only gonna get warmer overall.

it might actually get colder for all you in europe though if the gulf stream is altered by the melting of the north pole...at least according to some theories. as if weather wasn't unpredictable enough

It might. Not sure how the streams will affect one another if enough time passes, and the polar ice caps melt even more. Which is what's happening.
Nasa took some pictures of greenland, which showed that it had gotten a lot more reflective. So yea.. Not sure what'll happen because of the warmth, and if what we can do is enough. But i guess doing the little we can to stop it is better than not doing anything.

I've been in a bit of a slump during the holiday season, but it's getting close. I'm working on the third and hopefully final draft of book 1 of the trilogy. The rough draft of all 3 books has been done. My biggest bottleneck is waiting on one of my beta readers to finish reviewing the draft. I don't like to do any rewrites till I get both of their opinions.
Thanks for asking though, I've been trying to summon my [I]awen[/I] to get what I have ready finished

hmm, never bought a print before...kinda one reason I don't like non traditional media...wind up paying for art twice >.< But I'm restraining judgement here. I'm assuming I'll get file in any case, and might arrange to print my own.

Prints shouldn't be that much. D: I can also send you the compressed .psd file and you can go to print shops and have it printed however you like. But I do hope this is turning for the better. ^^' Sorry if this Digital Media idea is causing a bit of frustration-but I think I can convert this to traditional if given the time-and I can use the bg of this for something else? The idea won't be a problem to me since you're paying for it, that's my personal rule for myself when dealing with commissions. c:

Hot damn! Wow, I wasn't expecting that much color and detail in the picture. Expected just a black and white pen but hey, I'm not complaining! :3 LOL Though out of curiosity, did you do a scan before adding color? Be interesting to compare.

I didn't...I actually didn't even think of that until you mentioned it...but an easy way to kinda get the feel is to grayscale it and ignore the background-Fenris himself was done in ink (despite a little added watercolor, but nothing major)

Really sorry about that. :c I can upload a grayscaled version into my scraps if you'd like.

Oh no worries. If it came to that I can grey scale it myself. I was just curious. I like stark contrasts some time, working in ink, pencil and scratchboard myself. Such contrasts combined with the aggressive pose and his own monochrome appearance might have looked pretty cool. But hey, it's a thought for next time you do a commish, and I do like it Heading to read your note now
