I'm an university student currently studying engineering physics. I enjoy taking photos and I do realize they have no artsy quality, and yet I upload some of them here every now and then. ...Yet science is what we use to make photography and art, if you think about it. Science is everywhere and it aims to make everything better. This is an overgeneralization but you get my point, you can't say science sucks.

Science is there to describe nature and of course the description is man-made; our perception is limited, this is why we invent tools, conduct experiments, use abstract mathematics. The scientific method and skeptical thinking are our best shot, science represents and thus helps us understand everything that is out there...
I mean, isn’t it so awe-inspiring that you can see images of so distant nebulas and expand your horizons? Or if you do not care about that, well, let me remind you that we’re having this conversation over the Internet. THE INTERNET, that is a product of scientists <.<

Science is hear-say nothing more. Just because someone tells you they know stuff, doesn't me that they do.
Everything they show people could easily be faked and it probably is. As far as "images of distant nebulas" and what not, how do you know that those "pictures" weren't just doctored up. It wouldn't be that hard.
Computers, the internet....again just because people use it, doesn't mean they created it or even know how it works. It's like when people gave Christopher Columbus credit for discovering the Indies....it's not like he created them, they were ALWAYS there. Or better, the "creation" of electricity. No one "created" it, it was ALWAYS there (Lightning).
I watched the video. Tim Minchin is a hack....one of the living dead. Again, because "science" can't "explain" something then of course it "can't exist". So much for "expanding horizons". It's ARROGANCE, plain and simple.
