I saw. That’s why I came here. What do you like about the series? Mine is both the cool mecha designs and the twist it brings to isekai anime (let alone being the starting point).

I’ve also been doing thorough research on the mecha’s names. You’ll be surprised how much European mythology I’ve gone through just to uncover their meanings.

Hmm yeah, what I like is mostly about the mech. They looks quite simple yet pretty cool.
I'm not really familiar with isekai things when I watched it at the first time, but I enjoy the story and also character developments there. It's one of the series that I can watch again and again.
Yeah, kinda surprised about it too when I found out one. Like Dana O Shee or Leprechaun.
Wished they remaster whole series in today's animation quality. I know it mostly not gonna happen tho.

Dana O Shee? Where did you did find stuff about that one? I tried searching for it, but couldn’t find anything.

Also, what are your thoughts on when the war gets thrown to Upper Earth? Personally, I believe that’s the most unique thing I’ve seen from the genre. Sure there are series where a person or two from another world with medieval traditions get thrown into our world, but not entire armies who are at war with each other. And certainly not those who wield advanced technology that out classes what on Upper Earth.

The only wish I have is something that showed the actual consequences on Upper Earth. At least tens of millions of Upper Earthlings died, cities including national capitals were destroyed, much military strength was wiped out, especially air power and missile armaments, and the repeated use of nukes will sure cause some environmental damage. The fallout from the series is something that I believe is worth looking into.

Yeah, I guess it's not something happened in nowadays isekai. But it's also different to isekais' from the start that Show Zama himself is transfered to parallel world, not being reincarnated as different person. Well, that aside, showing more consequences on Upper Earth really will make it better horror feel in story. Even one aura missile can burn entire town. And in the end, Tomino just kill em all.

That’s alright, I can sort of understand you. I can see your from a nation where English isn’t a native language.

I think it’s not unique for someone to be teleported into another world. That’s still pretty common in isekai series. I think it’s rather everyone from the “other world” being simultaneously thrown into “our world” that’s different. I can’t think of any other series that did that.

My only wish is that they did a direct sequel as to what happened after the war on Upper Earth. Millions are dead, cities including national capitals are gone, dozens of nuclear weapons were used, and several nations lost much of their military power. The war has ended, but the chaos is far from over.
