I am really very inspired by your writings, especially your iambic bits. I am at a loss trying to write like that.
I'm afraid you have to catch a DevWatch for this stuff. Sorry!

At a loss you may be, but you're losing very well.
Your jazz poem is surreal, miss. I am quite inspired

wow! I love seeing deviants who can write really good poetry. I'm going to take a closer look at your gallery in a minute. By the way, what exactly does Desaparecidos mean, I'm assuming there is a connections between Desaparecidos and Desaparecidita (I listen to the Nebraskan band Desparecidos.) Keep up the neat writing.

that jerkface didn't call until 10:00. by which point i had given up and gone out gambling (which i did horribly at, by the way). drowned myself in vice. isn't that super?
i guess may 14th will not be the night michael is seduced by a boy. shucks.

Ahhh, okay. To my recollection, that was in French in the English version too. I could be wrong? But I am pretty sure.
But I digress. That must be one of the most delightful movies I've seen in a long long time

grundiggedy In reply to desaparecidita [2004-05-06 15:10:23 +0000 UTC]
It was in French... my point was I didn't mind not understand what they were saying.
Delightful to say the least. Best animated movie to be made in years... at least since the Wallace and Grommit shorts, probably more. It ranks on my list of greatest animated movies of all time.

His face was pockmarked from, I am guessing, acne; it reminds me of the moon's craters. He talks slowly, almost haltingly. He gives the impression that he's thinking of the words just as he says them, and that he's thinking of the words rather slowly.
You never really see him smile unless you get him talking about a subject he likes. Baseball. Cars. His girlfriend. He has two looks: happy, and his normal look. His normal look is one of confusion and self-doubt. It makes him look stupid, and it stirs up empathy in my heart, the way the dirt at the bottom of a lake is stirred when you wrestle with your cousins at their cabin up north.

deviantNews
Daily Deviation
spine bent backwards by ~desaparecidita Very often I choose one of the poets from my watch and read every poem they've written. I start at the beginning of their deviations. Not only do I see how they've grown but more often than not I come away with new insight into and appreciation for their talent. That's what happened when I read the poems of desaparecidita In my opinion this poem especially epitomizes the poet's talent. Although it was posted in Poetry in Progress I found no critique to offer, no word to change. Poetry which causes quiescence within me always feels like hallowed ground.
Congratulations ONCE AGAIN.
you are pretty phenomenal.
