They are biological creatures with cybernetic enhancement. Their world is also populated with robots and androids.

I see, looks like a technologically advanced world then. I like the gadgets and weaponry used the comics, and the hilarious love triangle in addition to a huge and diverse cast with interesting personalities. XD
