Your sig emotes depict the life of an evil villain from the start of the evil plans to the end when they all go wrong. Nice.

Or it could just represent me saying, "Ooooo, pretty colors!" Yeah, that's the thought that was going through my head. But hey, this is an art website, so its meaning is up to the viewer

Hi there! Thanks for the watch!
So you're in college? UAA? I wonder how much longer this sunshine will last before the torture season starts again... Stupid snow.

laudanumvisions In reply to chin-sprite [2005-09-21 00:43:33 +0000 UTC]
Yes, I'm going to UAA, only taking a few classes for my own amusement though. I want the sun to last forever, but I know it won't *pout* I love Autumn, especially with how pretty it's been, but......god.....do I HATE winter. With a burning fiery passion of doom >_<
So what school do you go to?

chin-sprite In reply to laudanumvisions [2005-09-25 08:09:41 +0000 UTC]
I've been wondering, how are the art classes at UAA? And do they have anything for animation? Probably not, but just thought I'd ask. Although I'm happy to be leaving this state next year for college, and don't really want a reason to stay (Except for friends of course, which is one thing that already bugs me).
And I'm a senior at South. That freshman class this year... *shudders* it's huge, and none of them know their place!

laudanumvisions In reply to chin-sprite [2005-09-25 20:14:00 +0000 UTC]
I'm in the beginning drawing class and it's SUPER easy. It's almost sad. But I'm having fun and getting to know new people so it's not a complete loss. Mostly just taking it so I can take hard art classes next semester.
Yeah, I remember the freshman class my senior year, friggin' crazy kids. Most of them looked like munchins.....then again I'm 5'10 so. Yeah, they were all kinda back-talky and rude. *shrug* I think it's just a freshman thing.

Alaska is a state, 49th to be exact. And I get around $900 a year because I live here. Once again, grow up. I seriously doubt you're 19. If you are, then act like it.

Service is awsome I'd still be at service if I wasn't so dedicated to bowling. The service coaches are... not good.
But yeah, I've met Alaskans on DA, but none so close

well it wouldnt be so bad if they would hurry up and finish up the construction... im a sophmore by the way... what r u?
and i havent actually met alaskans on here except for my friend monana... she showed this to me... but yea this is cool... later

chin-sprite In reply to Kawaii-becky [2005-08-15 07:03:58 +0000 UTC]
That construction is crazy! Although I wasn't there for the worst of it. It seems like it kinda takes away all that was once Service, but maybe those feelings will fade when the old service generations graduate. So did you have a fun freshman year? I will be a senior, at last!

Kawaii-becky In reply to chin-sprite [2005-08-17 22:35:20 +0000 UTC]
eh, freshman year was kinda boring... not much to do.... so yea it was just drama drama drama...blah. but yea construction is crazy... i think they're doing D hall this year... hectic. so i bet being a senior will be fun
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
chin-sprite In reply to Kawaii-becky [2005-08-19 07:26:37 +0000 UTC]
Eh, drama is a pain. Especially around prom time. It's like some people think they can't have a good time at the prom unless they have a date. One of my friends (Art aid for Trasky) said the construction on G hall was crazy. I guess she had to help move stuff out of that cluttered art room. I'd like to see the new art rooms, wherever they will be and whenever they're done. I remember D hall. Always crowded there in upper d. And that's where I had my locker both years I went to service. I wonder where the mob will hang out now?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
Kawaii-becky In reply to chin-sprite [2005-08-19 07:35:00 +0000 UTC]
hmm i think that it'll be stuck in either the squares or maybe the new h hall... d hall was so crowded... i'd say the new g hall but that is now the "freshman acadamy" so that hall has all the freshman... but everyone else? no idea. i would too like to know what the new at rooms are like... last year they were so cluttered.... hmm i had a locker but i never used it... i carried my stuff with me cuz i didnt have much. but yea hi prom? i suppose that is a drama time...but oh well.. its not up for a long while... so yea hi how r u

Probably. I wanted to go into registration with my friend to see the changes, but I think she goes in at the same time I have to be in for my registration, hrm. But I have a south friend who probably wouldn't mind going up there with me to browse around. And I want to see the new sweatshirts. The South wolverine is, simply put, stupid looking. But I sent in a senior sweat shirt design, which would be cool if it was picked. Last year, the design was an overweight Wolverine (from X-men).
But besides the throbbing pain that comes with getting braces, I've been good. How about you?
๐: 0 โฉ: 1
Kawaii-becky In reply to chin-sprite [2005-08-19 07:54:13 +0000 UTC]
yea thats right... reg. is soon i forget sometimes... suppose i can go see any changes then...and our last years sweat shirt was just "seniors" in fancy grafetti letters... no animal on it... a fat wolverine? hmmm i find that hard to imagine...
but yea u got braces? i'm supposed to get them but i havent yet.... im good... enjoying the rain... can you hear it too?

chin-sprite In reply to Kawaii-becky [2005-08-19 08:21:40 +0000 UTC]
I remember it because my mom isn't here to remind me, someone I know leaves for college that day (Or within of couple days of the 22nd), I have to go back to the orthodontist again so they can put more metal in my mouth, and that's when sign-ups for dance classes start. It's going to be a busy week.
I feel like such a dork getting braces at 17, for my senior year, lol.
And yeah, that rain is strong! It actually just clamed down at my house but dang it was really pouring! I havn't seen rain that strong since I went to Atlanta! I wish I could have gone outside and played in it, lol. I love rain.

I was curious so I decided to look at your page. NOw that I have. I'm glad I did. See I am a decent writer, but I wish to learn how to draw, so I understand your mini plight in your journal. It will be interesting to see how we advance wouldn't it? ^_^

I'm glad you took a look I'll make sure to browse through yours when I have a decent amount of time. And since you read my journal, you probably know that I'd be happy to do illustrations
As for learning to draw, I've been learning by 1) studying other people's art and how they do things, 2) the amazing power of zoobooks, and 3) experimenting with different styles, and starting very simple, working into more detail as I go.

Thank you. I've noticed but if I ask it won't be right away.
As for me drawing, I can't base it off of someone else. I have to find my own way.
