how was lfcc for you guys? it seemed like more of a sci fi event than a comics/manga event. would you say it was worth your time from a business standpoint? you guys should check out elcaf or the mcm expo, maybe even hyper japan, i've been away from the convention scene for quite a while so those are the only ones i know. hopefully next year me and some friends will have tables at all of them.

Depends on what you mean from a business standpoint, really. If you sell things related to the right fandoms, I think it can be quite profitable. It wasn't great moneywise for me, but there were also opportunities to network. Either way, totally worth te experience. I know I had a great time. And we're considering those.
Good luck to you in the future with getting tables and your comic then!

Well if I'm kept in the kitchen long enough I'm sure something would happen.... my ex-roommate told me I had a special skill in breaking corelle dishes (in case you don't know what corelle is , it's a company that makes dishes that are really hard to break. apparently you can drop them and they'd still stay intact and whatnot... but I aparently found a way to break 3 bowls and 2 plates of that make... in the few rare occasions I had to carry them around.

That and I managed to make a pyrex dish explode when I took it out of the oven. and I mean explode... into tiny little pieces. I had friends over to eye witness that and they were all like "are you ok? how?" odd thing was none of the shards got me but went just about everywhere else in the kitchen... hahhaha

these explosive skills translate to science labs too! well they did back in highschool at least... and computers still hate me too... hahaha

Oh my gosh yes exploding bags of flour and the story of the pancake zombie queen! at first she was a super zero (a really lame super hero)
when the first zombie pancake made it's way into the world she thought she had finally found her calling with her flour exploding powers! alas the zombie and cooked up nature of the pancake didn't quite have the explosions happen all it did was char the zombie a little... something the zombie doesn't mind as it is undead and still delicious. she was caught and turned into a zombie pancake! Oh noes!!!

but wait in this conversion she gained added powers what with being able to burn up by exploding the flour in her own zombified pancakefied body and conduct odd body morphings and such and gained the status of pancake queen! (not to mention all she'd need to do is touch flour to explode it into pancake minions!) Finally the world saw that she was not that super zero! She was something else... She became.........
