All the best to getting the funds you need for your trip and everything else. My husband's uncle had been working for the mounted police with dogs and he said it was quite rewarding for people working with the animals. He had been on a special musical ride before that. I think working with the dogs will be wonderful for you!

I'm working on developing owlcats as a species, maybe with a more unique name (or at least something to set it apart) and some defining characteristics so they aren't just owl-based gryphons but yeah (: It's a work in progress, but I have a whole document on my computer about their behavior already~
I actually start my proper dog trainer training in a week, I am so excited! When I do move to England, I'm going to set up my own business training dogs over there - I like animals so much more than I like most people so being able to knowledgeably interpret for the dogs will be an ideal fit for me! My ultimate goal is training service dogs for people with mental difficulties (schizophrenia, anxiety, ptsd etc.) so I'm really excited to be heading in that direction!

Oh I am going to love seeing what you come up with. There are so many more ways it could go than just griffons and it's such fun coming up with ideas.
Next week? Congratulations! I have heard so much about what service dogs bring out with those with those forms of issues and it all comes down to being great for the person who is suffering from the affliction. Dogs make such a beautiful care animal. Throughout the years the amount of types in care dogs has grown drastically. You will have to take pictures and keep us all updated.
