I saw some of your paintings in which there was Shahmaran, that is an old Kurdish story.
We used to see the picture of Shahmaran in houses years before, and we never payed attention to it. Now, I've seen the picture in other places, as well.
Can you help me by giving some information about the story of Shahmaran?

yes this is a kurdish story or legend of a wise woman called sahmeran. I am not so good at retelling a story so here is a link to wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shahmara…
You know this story is widely spread. In countries like Turkey, Iran and Irak this story is very well known. As we are somehow all like brothers and sisters it's just normal that we know and tell the same stories. :) (Smile)

ach echt? das wäre aber furchtbar schade!! geht bzw. ging mir ähnlich. in den letzten 1 bis 1,5 jahren gabs so viele essentielle entscheidungen zu treffen (zweitstudium, umzug und und und...), dass das kreative fast komplett über bord gegangen ist. furchtbar schade. sieht man bei mir ja auch: es gab kaum neue arbeiten. dennoch habe ich endlich wieder einige neue projekte. es soll unbedingt mal weitergehen.

gleiches wünsche ich für dich auch! dein talent ist doch - ganz im gegenteil zu mir - absolut nicht von der hand zu weisen!! mach weiter so! :-) (Smile)

Süß von dir. Danke. Aber ich finde du bist viel zu bescheiden. Talent besitzt du mindestens so viel wie ich. :) (Smile)
Von dir würde ich auch mal gerne wieder was sehen.

Es ist nicht so dass ich keine Ideen mehr habe sondern einfach keine Lust. Es warten einige Skizzen darauf mal gemalt zu werden und zwei angefangene Illustrationen müssen auch noch irgendwann mal beendet werden. Aber vielleicht packt mich ja bald wieder das Verlangen etwas zu vollenden. Ich hoffe es zumindest.
Nebenbei sitze ich auch noch an einer Zeitung und einem Bilderbuch für die Uni und daran mein Praktikumszeug zu erledigen. (Habe eine Stelle in der Türkei ergattert und kümmere mich jetzt um den nötigen Papierkram. Ab September geht es dann nämlich los.)
