Thanks so much for the comment on riot of colors - I've had a couple suggestions on the straight line of color that I used, and I will say I experimented with maybe tracing the petals but found that the color looked unbalanced and didn't seem to touch and contrast as much. I'm not sure I made the right decision, but I've pretty much placed the piece aside for the time being as is.
It's so nice to have somebody leave a thoughtful comment like that. Thanks. : )

thank u for your comment on typeface... yeah, tis a pity i guess, but at least it gives me yet another good reason to go back to Malacca to take more pics, and HOPEFULLY, i wont forget my macro converter next time... or have a macro lense by then!!! tho... the trip costs a lot less than the lense!

Thank you for your detailed comment on Saltwater. I also had some thoughts on the bird. I had the idea to remove it, but all the other elements in this photo are the same as the came out my camera. So that is why I kept the bird in place. Maybe it was a far more better photo if the bird was just flying by a little closer . But well... that is nature....
Thanks again!

Thanks for your comment on Chill Out Room !
Yep, it's hard on the eyes... working on such a small scale and constantly zooming in and out, but my eyes kind of adapted to it so I enjoy it, heh.

Hey,
Thanks for the comment on my latest! It's much appreciated. I actually stitched a couple images together for that one. I'm glad you liked it.

Two great comments! Thank you SO much.
The safe from harm one is very much a stitched together picture in photoshop. This is two images taken consecutively from my bedroom window. I find it hard to puut things into perspective here. It means very specific things to me, so I am quite suprised by the universal connection to it, by those who have commented. To me, it was about the things that we take for granted - the moon, the familiarity and warmth of home, yet the ever present darkness of the unknown. The title comes from a Massive Attack song, as does my two line description. It is one of the few pictures in my gallery I like more now, than I did when I made it. Usually, it goes the other way, as I notice ways I could have done something to better effect. This time, thanks to the comments like yours, I appreciate it more, as something I have created that people relate to.
The Prazsky hrad picture has probably my fullest description. It traces my frustrations of my ambitions over my limited talent being parenthesised by my inability to reflect and depersonalise what I am doing. Then again, the orignal version - now long gone, was the impetus for the final version. Without the comments then, I would have eventually deleted the deviation and given it up as a lost cause. It also made me instigate a new folder for stuff that I have yet to fully evaluate. Most of the stuff goes to my stock gallery now, and I think my main gallery has improved beyond recognition because of it.
So thank you again for such well composed comments!

thanks so much for the comment on Drops Of Life. And that was a good idea...about the gold color font. I didn't even think of it (obviously *L*). I wish I would have now.

hello again . . .
thanks for linking me to that pansy photo
that was very kind of you to think of me
and more flattering that not only do you identify me
as presenting a certain flavor of work
but a very specific shade of red
one "saturated with black."
that seems to describe me precisely

Hi there Thanks alot for the feedback on Monlith-1... I know it turned out quite grainy, but I think that was because it was such a long exposure... Not quite sure... I might pass it through Neatimage and see if it comes up better... And crop it too It was nearly 2am here when I submitted these, kinda just wanted some rough feedback, to see if its worth goin back there or not... Personally I love the tower itself... It looks so industrial. And has such wonderful shadows and angles... I'll stop rambling now
Thanks again

Hey, thanks for your great comments on the business card designs. The card uses only 2 font families: Georgia and Trebuchet. The italic font is also Georgia.
As for the size of the card, it's still 3.5" wide like a normal card but slightly taller, so it will still fit in wallets and Rolodexes.
I am given an average of 4 business cards from new clients/vendors every day, so in the last 10 years I've collected hundreds of them. The ones that I remember most are the ones that are different in some way, like size, design, material, etc. If I like it, I will find a way to keep it, no matter how big or small it is! Add this to the fact that most people do business with you within a few days of receiving your card, so the longevity of the card is not as important as its initial impression.
Anyway, your comments and input are always welcome! Thanks again!

Thanks for your analysis of my composition on Hesitation Morning Glory. I experimented with that crop on the right, and I did like it. But in the end I settled for my in-camera cropping. Next time I'll try cropping it in-camera with a stronger composition.

Thanks for the comment on the mask photo. It's a really cool piece of carving. It's a Celtic dragon. The main part of the mask is made from a single piece of wood. The horns are seperate. It was hard to get good photos of it because it was so awkward to put on during the 10 seconds of my camera's self timer. I will look through the photos I have of this piece, but I think I only got one good shot and then returned it to the artist.

Have you ever had a dream, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire deviant life, that there's something wrong with the story. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.
You take the blue pill, the story ends. Your browser closes and you believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in wonderland. And, I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.
I offer only the truth, nothing more.
Take: The Red Pill
Take: The Blue Pill
spyed, nobody has ever done this before.
I know. That's why it's going to work.

Wow, that was some quick response to my "Underground Tunnel Vision." I must say I do greatly appreciate the commentary, far beyond the normal comment. I didn't run the picture through photoshop, though I perhaps should have . . there's not a whole lot of contrast along the walls. I might see if I can touch it up a bit to add that grainy feeling you're looking for, though. Thanks for your input!
