# About me

Bernard Peña exist in a world of colors. A graduate from the University of Sto. Tomas with a degree in Fine Arts, began drawing in preschool where he imagined elves living on stilts. Even at a young age, he lived in a world where the creatures of fantasy were not too far from reality. Bernard believes that his art was greatly influenced by cartoon and comic books that he was exposed to as a child. To Bernard, his art is one that he has learned and unlearned, one that has changed as his experiences changed and grew as he too had grown from adolescent to adult.
Bernard’s work stem from his self-evaluations, representations of life experiences and opinions. A rookie dad of 31. Some of his recent works has his wife and kid as subjects. Representing them in a different light as he sees them. Bernard has said that his art changes as his own personal situation.
