No problem, I found you because your red faced dragon adopt caught my attention on the “popular 24 hours” page!

The last year I’ve been low-key thinking about making a dragon themed RPG as next video game project (probably never actually going to make it though, let alone publish anything, I’m always working overtime or have other life problems to deal with). So I’ve been especially ogling dragon designs lately, your dragon was lovely btw!

I do wonder if random DA adopt designs  could be possibly used in a game, (All game sprites would be in my artwork, but having a few designs from different artists might help keep them from being monotonous), but I’m not sure of the legality of that. I think it would be up to the creators terms?

Oh that's lovely! Im glad you were able to find my work that way then <3
And personally- making dragon designs isnt too much difficulty if they are based along the same anatomy. If you were to contact an artist like me for bulk of dragon designs in the same level of detail as the red faced one, we could come to an agreement of several designs for a massively discounted price if used for a game- no credit needed. It would certainly be up to the creator's terms especially with how particular rules can be when it comes to rights and such.
If you do end up making a dragon themed RPG, I wish you best of luck! And perhaps if it goes through I could help support you in some way. I need more dragon games in my life XD

Thanks!  Tbh, I may just be looking for a reason to personally justify getting some adopts XD The thought of being able to use the design for something “useful” someday would make me feel less guilty. Plus having spent money some designs already would help motivate me to work on the project.

Have you heard of Day of Dragons? It’s a dragon survival game who’s Kickstarter just blew up recently, it looks really promising

Also, if she’s still available, I’d love to adopt that dragon if you wouldn’t mind her possibly being used in a game XD If the game does happen, I’d be sure to contact you beforehand to work out crediting or possibly more designs (assuming you’d still be on DA by then). I’d prefer to credit everyone who designed anything to do with game unless they specifically didn’t want it for some reason.

Day of Dragons? No I actually havent heard of it. But ill have to check it out then if you think it's worth supporting.
And honestly if you were to use the adopt for something like a game, I would be really honored and would definitely help support the game. I would certainly say Ill still be here unless for some reason I decide to change my identity or something XD

looks like Day of Dragons closed their kickstarter now, but the early access release should come out on steam mid November-ish I think. It often gets compared to a dinosaur game called the Isle. It still needs a lot of work but it’s already the best looking “play as a dragon” game I’ve seen since... Spyro? There really aren’t that many despite how popular dragons are

(late response sorry) but yeah Im right there with you on that. And personally I dont really care for the Isle, im more a fan of Ark myself XD but if someone is making a dragon game that's comparable to the Isle, thats pretty exciting.

Ah, I’m sorry I’ve been mostly silent here. I’ve been having major art block the past few months and haven’t been active on here, but I still like to look at my notifications on occasion. I miss doing artwork and try to get back into every so often but I struggle to finish things, heh.

YEAH I get you totally I've been mostly doing only little bits of art, I haven't missed dA drama though XD

I’m alright, just a bit depressed and uninspired. Lost my tablet pen and my old computer got real slow. I got a new gaming computer recently which would probably be pretty good to 3D model with, problem is I’m really addicted to an MMO called Ark Survival Evolved and play it everyday with my current BF.
