Because it should be about the good times. But when it ends all you seem to do is wallow in sorrow and sadness. You can also learn a lot more.

But probably mainly because we'd get bored.

Have you seen Sunday in the Country (aka Un dimanche à la campagne) is a 1984 French film directed by Bertrand Tavernier.

The look reminds me of your work, I absolutely fell in love with the film & cinematography.
